Let’s go on with mini books! This time, this is an altered book with a soft and romantic atmosphere.

I had fun working girly pastel colours.

In this mini book I used two different types of embossing folders: a rose-patterned folder that I love and a labels’ folder. There are sold in sets of three and this set is just fantastic! You’ll only need to use your Big Shot for embossing paper then to cut them out with a pair of scissors.

Both folders are used with smooth white Bristol paper.

Once cut, the label is coloured with Izink pigment ink (Orchid colour). Avoid colouring it all to add nuance to your die cut.

The embossed roses-patterned paper is coloured with 2 shades of Adirondack inks. Make some small circular moves starting from the outside and moving towards the inside. Wood embellishments are glued afterwards.

J'ai utilisé dans ce mini deux types de plaque à embosser : une plaque à motifs rose que j'adore et des étiquettes. Celles-ci vendues par lot de 3 sont juste géniales ! Il vous suffit de mes embosser à l'aide de votre Big Shot puis de les découper à l'aide d'une paire de ciseaux.

Mes deux plaques sont embossées dans du papier blanc lisse ( Britol).

L'étiquette une fois découpée est colorée grâce à des pigments Izink couleur Orchid. Evitez de la teinter complètement pour nuancer votre découpe.

La plaque à motifs roses est quant à elle colorée à l'aide de deux couleurs d'Adirondack. Effectuez de petits mouvements circulaires en allant de l'extérieur vers l'intérieur. Des embellissements en bois sont ensuite collées en guise de décoration.

Here I used a simple embossing folder which I’m fond of to create volume and 3D effects.

Use a large size tag (8x16cm) as a basis.

Give it some colours by working it with Izink pigment ink (colour Caviar). Add a few drops on your Teflon mat, spray water and apply your tag directly on the water-ink mix.

Then choose an embossing folder, here the Pom-poms & roses which is just perfect with my pictures.

When your coloured tag is dry, insert it in the folder and put the whole in your Big Shot.

Now use the tag as a page for your mini book. You’ll only need to decorate it with stickers and stamps!

J'ai utilisé ici une simple plaque à embosser que j'aime énormément pour créer du relief et du volume.

Utilisez un tag grand format (8x16cm) comme base.

Donnez lui de la couleur en le travaillant avec des pigments Izink couleur caviar. Déposez quelques gouttes sur un tapis téflon, vaporisez d'eau puis applatissez directement votre tag. Laissez sécher à l'air libre.

Sélectionnez ensuite une plaque à embosser, ici les Pom-poms et roses qui vont à merveille avec ma sélection de photos.

Glissez votre tag sec et coloré dans votre plaque et passez le tout à la Big Shot.

Utilisez maintenant votre tag tel une page de mini album qu'il vous suffira de décorer avec des stickers et des tampons !

The size of this card is 11x20cm. It is built with several pattern papers with luminous colours so as to shoo off the grey weather!

I used the “Roses” embossing folder with white paper; it will give a spring touch to the creation.

The embossed paper is then matted with sky blue paper.

The title “For you” is on the tag. A paper clip comes as a completion.

Let’s add a butterfly for the feminine touch! It will be attached with the paper clip.

Une carte au format au format 11x20cm composée de plusieurs imprimés aux couleurs lumineuses comme pour chasser la grisaille !

Une plaque à motifs "roses" est embossée dans du papier blanc, celle-ci viendra donner une petite touche printanière.

Le papier embossé est ensuite matté en bleu ciel.

Le titre "for you" est donné par le tag, un trombone vient le compléter.

Un papillon vient ajouter une petite touche féminine, il sera fixé à l'aide du trombone.

Cards are back with this new “thank you” card! I opted for sobriety and elegance with this pretty kraft & gold card.

Choose an embossing folder with feminine patterns (here roses). Emboss it with kraft cardstock. Cut up a rectangle size 9x14cm.

Glue your embossed rectangle on a white cardstock size 21x15cm that is folded in half.

For more volume, staple a tulle piece with ribbon and white thread.

Cut a heart out of a matching paper scrap with your Big Shot.

Glue this heart with 3D adhesive. Insert two pretty gold feathers.

Stamp the word “Merci” with black ink on a white paper scrap and simply cut it up.

Your card is now done!

Choisissez une plaque à embosser aux motifs féminins ici des roses. Embossez votre plaque dans du cardstock Kraft. Découpez votre rectangle au format 9x14cm.

Collez votre papier embossé sur un cardstock blanc au format 21x15cm plié en deux.

Pour apporter du volume, agrafez un morceau de tulle de ruban et du fil couture blanc.

Découpez un coeur à l'aide de votre Big Shot dans une chute de papier imprimé assorti.

Montez votre coeur à l'aide de mousse 3D. Glissez deux belles plumes couleur or.

Tamponnez le mot Merci en noir sur une chute de papier blanc et découpez simplement.

Votre carte est maitenant terminée !

Start by choosing pastel coloured pattern papers and a background with soft patterns (here it is my pretty hearts paper).

Use the coffee embossing folder with a white cardstock: a perfect match for my theme!

I also stamped a cup pattern (Hero Arts) and cut it up.

Cut a lace border with your Big Shot, small hearts out of golden paper, choose some wooden hearts, two Pola frames and some little bubble chipboards.

Gather and glue all these elements around your picture.

Glue the golden hearts with 3D adhesives to make them stand out more.

Add your title using three different fonts.

Add some masking tape strips and your lay-out is done!

Commencez par choisir des imprimés dans les tons pastels et un fond de page aux motifs discrets ici mon joli papier à coeurs.

Embossez sur du cardstock blanc la plaque "café", juste idéale pour ma thématique !

Dans la même idée, tamponnez et découpez un tampon tasse de la marque Hero Arts.

Découpez une frise dentellée à l'aide de votre Big Shot, des petits coeurs dans du papier doré, sélectionnez des coeurs en bois, deux cadres pola, des petites bulles chipboards.

Assemblez tous ces éléments autour de votre photo.

Afin qu'ils ressortent bien, montez les coeurs dorés en 3D à l'aide d'adhésifs.

Complétez avec votre titre en jouant sur trois typo différentes.

Ajoutez quelques bandes de masking tape et votre page est terminée !

Hello everyone, it´s Janna here. After last week´s colorful scrapbooking page, I am back with a gold, silver and white color combination. It is definitely one of my favorite combinations as it adds an elegant touch to each project.

This clean and simple page can easily be recreated. Add a piece of masking tape on top of the page. Then use a paint brush and golden spray to add splatters. Let the splatter dry before you continue.

Cut a piece of gold dotted vellum and place it in the middle of your page. Then put a journaling card and a piece of white, embossed cardstock on top of the vellum. I used a honeycomb pattern to emboss the white cardstock. Instead of running it through my Big Shot, I pressed it very hard with my hands. Like this the pattern will be more decent.

Cut an oval out of vellum and glue the title on top of it. Add a bit of stitching, if you like (see photo above). The vellum will be adhered on top of the journaling card. The photo will be decorated with a clip. To make sure, it will stay in place, glue the photo on top of the white, embossed cardstock and add glue on the backside of the clip as well. Embellish the page with silver leaves and wood veneer and you are done!

Hallo ihr Lieben, Janna hier. Nach der bunten Scrapbooking-Seite der letzten Woche, habe ich heute ein Layout in der Farbkombination Gold, Silber und Weiß für euch. Dies ist definitiv eine meiner liebsten Kombinationen, da sie jedem Projekt Eleganz verleiht.

Diese clean and simple Seite kann leicht nachgearbeitet werden. Zuerst wird ein Streifen Masking Tape am oberen Rand befestigt. Dann werden mit einem Pinsel und goldenem Spray Kleckse auf dem Layout verteilt.

Anschließend wird gold-gepunktetes Vellum zurechtgeschnitten und mittig auf dem Papier befestigt. Darauf wird eine Journaling-Karte geklebt und ein Stück weißer Cardstock, der vorher embossed wurde. Ich habe das Honeycomb-Muster zum Embossen verwendet, habe allerdings nicht die Bog Shot genutzt, sondern mit den Händen gedrückt. Auf diese Weise ist das Muster dezenter.

Aus Vellum wird ein Oval ausgestanzt, auf diesem wird dann der Titel befestigt. Als Akzent wird über den Titel genäht. Das Vellum wird anschließend auf der Journaling-Karte aufgeklebt. Das Foto wird mit einem Clip verziert. Damit sich das Foto nicht verschiebt, sollte es partiell mit Kleber versehen werden, ebenso die Unterseite des Clips. Zu guter Letzt wird die Scrapbooking-Seite noch mit silbernen Blättern und einem wood veneer embellished - das war´s!

Hello everyone, this is Janna. Today I am sharing a scrapbooking page. The title means "Life is a canvas, paint on it" and the journaling is about my desire to use more paint and colors in my work.

Instead of using the embossing die with the Big Shot machine, I put the paper into the die and pressed with my fingers. This creates a decent and subitle structure.

As you can see, I also used the negative shapes from the banners, heart and circle. I don´t like to waste beautiful supplies, so these can be used as great style elements as well.

Anstatt die Embossing-Die mit der Big Shot Maschine zu verwenden, habe ich das Papier in die Die gelegt und mit den Händen draufgedrückt. Das hinterlässt einen subtileren und dezenteren Abdruck.

Wie ihr sehen könnt, habe ich auch die Negati-Stanzform der Banner, des Herzens und des Kreises verwendet. Ich schmeiße wunderschöne Materialien nicht gerne weg, daher ist dies eine gute Lösung für die Reste, außerdem sind sie ein tolles Stilelement.
