Celebrate with Anna Draicchio: New Years Eve Party

For celebrations big and small, It's easy and affordable decorate the room and table with Sizzix dies! Take a peek at these projects. It's time to get ready for a little New Year's Eve fun...

I played with different Sizzix dies and I used some new dies from Laced With Love collection and Where Women Cook colection. Love love love!!!

I chose a Turquoise and Gold color combination, but you can use any colors ;)

Getting started with a card. Handmade cards are always a pleasure to receive. Remind your friends and family to dream big in the year to come with a card made with love. Here are a quick idea for you...

 

 

 

I painted a turquoise cardstock, attached a pretty doily and... more gold and glitter stars!

The second project is super quick and easy to make: a festive paper garland! It adds the perfect handmade touch during the party. The instructions are the same of this old project.

This Tea light houses is an idea for a table decoration and are not only pretty for New Year Eve but also great for any occasion. I used three houses cut out with Thinlits and covered with gold acrylic paint.

Ciao! Ecco l'ultimo appuntamento del 2013 con Anna. Sono qui per condividere con voi qualche idea per festeggiare il Nuovo Anno con un po' di creatività. Per le celebrazioni grandi o piccole che siano, è facile decorare la casa e la tavola con le fustelle Sizzix, come ho fatto io! 

Ho giocato con differenti fustelle Sizzix ed ho anche usato alcuni nuovi prodotti delle collezioni Laced With Love e Where Women Cook.

Ho scelto una combinazione di colori turchese e oro, ma voi potete usare tutti i colori che preferite.
Date uno sguardo a questi progetti... perchè è ormai tempo di prepararsi per una divertente notte di Capodanno...

Iniziamo con un biglietto (o invito). Le card fatte a mano sono sempre un piacere da ricevere. Ricordate quindi ai vostri amici e familiari di fare grandi sogni per l'anno che verrà con una card fatta con amore. Nelle foto in alto vedete una rapida idea, che ho realizzato io per i miei amici. Ho spennellato un cartoncino turchese, attaccato la metà di un delizioso centrino e aggiunto tante stelle dorate o brillantinose! Qualche paillettes per rendere la card ancor più scintillante... ecco fatto!

Il secondo progetto è super veloce e facile da fare: una ghirlanda di carta festosa! E' il progetto perfetto per una festa e darà il giusto tocco personale fatto-a-mano. Le istruzioni sono le stesse del mio vecchio progetto che trovate qui. Che aspettate a farla? ;)

Il porta lumini che vi mostro nelle foto sopra è un'idea per decorare un angolo della casa o la tavola, non solo per il Veglione di Capodanno, ma ideale per ogni occasione. Ho usato tre casette ritagliate con la bella fustella del set Thinlits, che ho poi verniciato molto semplicemente con il color oro. Un 2014 ritagliato con il bell'alfabeto Vintage Market (ideale per tagliare cartone e feltro perchè è una Bigz XL)  completa il progetto per Capodanno.

Infine ho creato in un attimo i segnaposti con la nuova fustella Bigz Silverware Tags. La fustella contiene anche la mascherina per embossare e creare così le venature in rilievo delle posate, fantastica! Ecco così dei facili e divertenti segnaposti per la tavola di Capodanno.

Big Shot Starter kit: Paper Garlands

Hi Everyone!

this is Anna. I wanted to share an easy tutorial with you! Even today I took out my smaller pieces of patterned papers and my Sizzix dies of the new Big Shot Starter kit.
This project is super quick and easy to make! It is also very inexpensive and adds the perfect handmade touch during the parties or spruce up a corner of room.

Wrap a garland around gift to brighten someone’s day... Sometimes the way an ordinary gift is presented, makes it extraordinary!

Items used:

658300 Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit
scrap of: cardstocks, patterned papers, glitter papers, old book pages, felt
sewing machine, thread, scissors

1- Select the papers or cardstocks you would like to use. Make sure you use double sided papers since both sides will be showing.
2- Cut out hearts, butterflies, circles, flowers... as many or as little as you would like depending on the lenght you want your garland to be.
3- Use a sewing machine to stitch the shapes together and create your garlands. Simply start by placing the first piece under the presser foot, put the needle in the down position and start stitching. Continue stitching, allowing the machine to stitch a few stitches between each new shape. You can space them out as close or far apart as you like.
4- You can take a little care by adding some dimensional items to the shapes to give your garland that extra touch of detail. Once you get to the end let the machine run again for some cm. You can leave the thread hanging off if you like.

The fun thing about creating your own is that you can customize them to match your color scheme!

Ecco un nuovo appuntamento con Anna. Oggi volevo condividere con voi un tutorial facile facile!
Anche questa volta ho tirato fuori i miei piccoli avanzi di carte e le fustelle del nuovo Big Shot Starter kit, che offrono davvero tante possibilità di utilizzo.
Questo progetto è super veloce e facile da fare! E' anche molto economico e aggiunge il giusto tocco allegro e personale alle vostre feste o può essere utile per abbellire un angolo della casa.

Un'altra idea di utilizzo è quella di avvolgere una ghirlanda intorno ad un pacchetto regalo, come vedete nelle foto sopra. A volte il modo in cui un regalo ordinario viene presentato, lo rende straordinario!

Materiali:

ritagli di: cartoncini tinta unita, carte fantasia, carte glitter, pagine di vecchio libro, feltro
macchina da cucire, filo, forbici...

1 - Selezionare le carte o cartoncini che si desidera utilizzare. Assicurarsi di utilizzare carte double face, poiché  potrebbero essere visibili entrambi i lati.
2 - Tagliare cuori, farfalle, cerchi, fiori... tanti o pochi, secondo quello che si desidera fare, a seconda della lunghezza che si desidera raggiungere.
3 - Usare la macchina da cucire per unire insieme le forme e creare così la ghirlanda. Basta iniziare posizionando il primo pezzo sotto il piedino, mettere l'ago in posizione abbassata e iniziare a cucire. Continuare cuciture, facendo un paio di punti tra una forma e l'altra. Si può lasciare più o meno spazio, secondo i propri gusti.
4 - Si può sovrapporre alcuni elementi, anche di feltro, per dare un effetto tridimensionale che darà alla vostra ghirlanda quel tocco in più. Una volta arrivati alla fine cucire ancora qualche punto e tagliare il filo.

Facile no? La cosa più bella e divertente è che si possono creare tante diverse ghirlande, personalizzandole ogni volta in modo diverso: basta variare gli abbinamenti di forme e colori, così come la lunghezza e la distanza tra una forma e l'altra!
