Giftbox

Hey there!
Today it's saturday and I'm here again to show you a little Tutorial for a giftbox.
I like this asymmetrical shape.

On my journey to the Netherlands , I found the granules Coli Star. Small color grains, structure like salt. You sprinkle it very sparingly on watercolor paper. Then you spray water on the paper and the fireworks begins. You have to dry the paper, before you emboss for example a lettering.

Now you build the box from a piece of square paper. I used a piece, size10 cm by 10cm. Fold it like the pictures. One flap will not seal. You need the opening to fill the box. For this tab I used non permanent adhesive.

Finally, the best part :) Decorate the box!

YOU NEED:

I used the beautiful Embossingfolder 'Candy Hearts' for the design of the background. From the watercolor paper I have two hearts punched out with my Big Shot and sewn onto the background. The word 'hello' I cut it out three times in different colors.
Than I have strung a few beads and stuck the card on the box. Finished!

I hope you like it!
Have a good weekend. Until next week!

A flower in a Box....

This month i received the - oh my Gosh! - the great Big Shot Plus Starter Kit...
And there is so much in to play with at this set - of course the great new and bigger Big Shot
(you are able to use 8 1/2 x 11 materials!!!) - but there are also a lot of great supplies in...

For example the thinlits set with a totally cut box die....
or the Textured Impressions Plus Embossing Folder (Dots)...
or the Bigz L Die (Everyday Essentials)

And out of all this is made a flower gift box.... not only with a flower on - also with
a flower in the box....

I cut out to of the boxes - on for the outside wich i embossed with the
Dots Embossing Folder - and one for the inside.

For the inside i cut of the sides of the lid (and you have to fold it a little more tight).

Before insert i fixed a little piece of wire as the flower stalk...

And i made two 3D-flowers with the Bigz L Die (Everyday Essentials) that also
comes with the Starter Kit.

One i fix at the wire inside the box and one at the lid.

A little decoration (i made the closure our of two brads and a piece of rubber band)...
and the box is ready for giving...

The label is made with Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Layering Frames

Have a great weekend, Stephanie

*******

A cute milk carton for mom

Hi Sizzix friends!

Today I show you the cute milk box I have prepared for Mother’s Day. A beautiful simple milk box with a clean decoration is enough to say how much you love your mom and to give her a little present.

To make this lovely box I have used the milk carton die and the following supplies: a scrapbook paper, a sparkly adhesive piece of paper, a ribbon to match your box and a wire to curve the word or the name.

Here is a detail of the heart and the word created with the wire:

This lovely heart is one of the dies included in the Big Shot Plus Kit.

And here are some images of the milk box for my mom:

This type of box is perfect as a gift box for a handmade ring or other pieces of jewellery. But it is also perfect to be used as a party favour.

I have used the following Sizzix products:

I hope you have enjoyed this cute box I've made for my mom. Thanks for your visit!

Have a creative and happy Friday!

He utilizado los siguientes productos Sizzix:

Butterfly Kisses and Flower Petal Wishes

Hello crafty people out there,
it´s me again, Julia. I hope you guys had a nice week? :)
The last days I got totally into heat embossing. I just bought a bunch of new colors of embossing powder and couldn´t stop trying it out. So that´s why my project for this week is heat embossed all over it.

This is what you will need:
(it includes all Dies you need: the box, butterflies and flowers)
embossing powder, embossing ink pad, heat embossing gun, cardstock
If you are ready making a few of butterflies with your Big Shot Plus and the Framelits, you can start giving them a glittery finish with your embossing powder. Just dip the wings onto your embossing ink pad and cover your whole butterfly with the embossing powder of your choice.

With a brush you can remove it on places you won´t like to have the embossing powder. I am always using a big wood cloth pin while heat embossing, because I don`t want my hands to get burned. ;)

I think it looks pretty real, as they would fly away in a blink of an eye. :) Do you like it? Hope you got inspired a little bit to combine heatem bossing with your die cutting projects.
Have a nice day everyone, xo Julia

-------------------------------------------

Was ihr benötigt:

star shaped treasure box tutorial

Hi there,

i hope you are celebrating a wonderful great easter with your family.

If you need a little break between egg hunting, family cake parties and easter dinner
i have a little tutorial for you...

I made a little star shaped treasure box for you...

First i made four stars using the second largest die of the Sizzix Framelits Die Set Stars (#657567).
One side of a ray measures 3cm - this measure we need later.

Than i embossed one of the stars with dots using the Sizzix Textured Impressions
Embossing Folders Houndstooth & Stars Set (#659745)

Than i added watercolor...

During the watercolor dries i built the box.

I cut a strip of paper, 31 cm long
(5 rays with two sides - each 3 cm - makes 30 cm... + 1 cm for fixing)
and 5 cm wide (left and right 1 cm for fixing).

Every 3 cm i fold the paper strip...and i clip small triangles for making the fixing straps.

Than i glued one of the remaining stars to the strip.

Then i used the third largest die and the third star for building a framed star..
I laid it on the box and marked the overlaping paper.
Then i cropped it and fixed the framed star.

I fold the fourth star and glued two rays on to the box.
Now the other three rays are the lid.
I fixed a small magnet for closing the lid.

The box is finished.

Decorating time!!!! Remember the first embossed star...
I decorated it with Stamps and leaves and fixed it on the front of the box.

Ready....

Material:
Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine (#660020)
Sizzix Framelits Die Set Stars (#657567)
Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders Houndstooth & Dots Set (#659745)
Sizzix Bigz Die - Garden Greens (#659436)

Happy crafting
Stephanie

*******************************

Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine (#660020)
Sizzix Framelits Die Set Stars (#657567)
Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders Houndstooth & Dots Set (#659745)
Sizzix Bigz Die - Garden Greens (#659436)
Cardstock in weiß

Blätter, Stempel... was ihr mögt.

Fertig....

Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß beim Nachmachen...

Liebste Grüße
Stephanie

Gift Box and Card

Hi Sizzix fans! Anna here with a Sizzix project.
Today I'm showing you a simple gift idea. This little box is really easy to make and so lovely! Inside there are crayons for a boy, but you can fill with chocolates for an Easter treat.

cafe creativo - sizzix big shot - box - gift - scatolina (1)

To create the box you need the great Sizzix Bigz XL Box & Card by Stephanie Ackerman and a pair of Extended Cutting Pads. I also die cut a Card using the die of that name. The box is embellished with a window circle made with Framelits.

To create the box:
Die-cut from patterned paper and apply double-sided tape to the two long side flaps.
Fold all crease lines in the same direction. Fold the front of the Box to meet the back of the Box and adhere along the side flaps.
Insert the gift and apply a piece of washi tape. Wrap the box several times with twine.

To create the tag:
Cut out a card from cardstock with XL die.
Let a few drops of spray ink. Re-use the circle that you have cut out in the box and apply. Stamp and die-cut the sentiment with Thinlits set and apply with foam board tape.
Adhere a mini tag with stapler and staples.
Embellish with sequins and paper clip.

This die is so versatile and my mind is overflowing with ideas for this cute little die, from a crayon box to Wedding favors, Easter Treat and just about everything in between. I love that I can use bits and pieces of this die and adapt it to fit any holiday or occasion.
Thanks for stopping by :)

Per le amiche italiane! :)
