Timeless Love - gift box or favour

Hi Sizzix fans! Anna here with today’s Sizzix Tutorial.

I'm showing you two sweet Gift Boxes, very easy to make and so lovely!

I used Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 6PK - Timeless Love Gift Box so sweet!

This Box die is perfect to create a party table setting, wedding favour... or a cute gift box for Christmas.

Ciao a tutti i fans di Sizzix! Sono Anna ed oggi sono qui con un nuovo tutorial.

 

Nelle foto qui sopra vi mostro due scatoline, molto facili da fare! Per realizzarle ho usato la fustella per Big Shot Plus: Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 6PK - Timeless Love Gift Box , dolcissima!

Il set di fustelle oltre alla scatolina base, comprende diversi abbellimenti come un uccellino, una rosa, un fiorellino ed un paio di rametti differenti.

Questa fustella, di grande formato, è sicuramente ideale per creare bomboniere di ogni tipo e scatoline regalo per ogni occasione.

 

Per spiegarvi come creare la scatolina, ho realizzato anche un video. Buona visione!

Curvaceous fan blade

 As promised I've come back to this design with the fan blade -

 

 

I have used the Bigz Die - 660459 http://www.sizzix.co.uk/product/660459/sizzix-bigz-l-die-fan-blade-30-degrees and the Big Shot Machine - http://www.sizzix.co.uk/product/660200/sizzix-big-shot-machine-only-white-gray 





but this time I have stitched the fan blades together to create curves rather than circles -

I have done this by stitching 4 blades together as shown above, and then stitching the next 4 together in the opposite direction -

  to create a corner stitch 7 blades together in the same direction, before reversing to create the opposite curve -

This is obviously still a work in progress - so I hope to show you a finished cushion cover next week - and maybe the first of some items for Christmas - it all depends on how fast the clock ticks this week!!!

In the inner cover, I cut the number 4 out of a tag, to decorate my first picture. The tag had previously been worked with Brushos. Surely you will find the scooped-out tag on the third double page! Nothing’s lost in scrapbooking! You can use everything!

I used the Love&Wishes die to cut the small word Love. It is also added on the first picture.

On one of the large picture, I cut the word “made with love” thanks to the sublime die “Tag Phrases”. All you will have to do next is glue a small piece of pattern paper underneath to make your die cut stand out.

Cut small hearts with “Heartfelt” die and color them with Brushos.

I cut two shapes (star and circle) out of white cardstock thanks to the festive scribbles set. As you can notice, you can use Christmas dies for any occasion!

A l'intérieur de la couverture et pour décorer ma première photo j'ai découpé le chiffre 4 dans un des tags , celui-ci sera travaillé au préalable avec les Brushos. Vous retrouverez bien entendu le tag évidé sur la 3ème double page ! En Scrap rien ne se perd tout s'utilise !

J'ai utilisé la découpe Love&Wishes pour le petit mot love, également ajouté sur cette première photo.

Sur une des grandes photo j'ai découpé le mot “made with love” avec le sublime die “Tag Phrases” Il suffira ensuite de coller un petit bout d'imprimé pour faire ressortir votre découpe.

A l'aide des Brushos, teintez des petits coeurs découpés avec le die “Heartfelt”

J'ai découpé dans du papier blanc et laissé tel deux formes ( étoile et rond ) provenant du set festive-scribbles, comme quoi des dies spécifiques à Noêl peuvent servir à toutes occasions !

On your bike!!!

Another week and another great die collection from Brenda Walton. This week I want to share a beautiful set of dies with you, it's a Thinlits set comprising of 14 different dies known as 'Whimsy and Delight' which should be a great seller on the strength of the name alone. Ms Walton doesn't have to rely on such gimmicks however as you will see in a moment.

Speaking of gimmicks, I have decided to strip away all the fancy techniques and products which I tend to overuse to mask my incompetence! I am just using some simple coloured card and a handful of stamps. All the dies featured on all the cards are in the set of 14.

 First up just a black silhouette, a gold bow, a strip of peachy pink card and an appropriate rubber stamp on a white base card

Same again but I had cut an asymmetric rectangle of the pink card for the gift and added the die-cut heart tag and bow.

 More of the same but this time I have added the die-cut basket, flower and leaves.

After adding the pink strip I placed the die-cut bicycle and balloons roughly where I wanted to stick them before using a pencil to mark their position with a dot and joining up the dots with a fine black marker to give the impression of string.

I was going to leave it at that but it seemed a shame not to show off some of the other decorative dies in the set so I made a series of mini cards to that end. First up.... the butterfly

Followed by the cherries......

the ice cream cone......

the swallow......

And last but not least the heart.

Great set, great designer (Brenda not me!) and great value for money!

Wishes come true

Hi everybody!

This week, two good friends, Elena Roche and Alberto Juárez, are seeing how some of his wishes come true. Elena (you know her well, is a Sizzix blogger also) publishes a great scrapbooking book, and Alberto Juárez (a great scrapbooker also) launches a new product line of wood tags,

So, I wanted to offer them a little gift in my weekly post, this wood tag is my tribute.

¡Hola a todo el mundo!

Esta semana, dos buenos amigos, Elena Roche y Alberto Juárez, están viendo cómo algunos de sus deseos se hacen realidad. Elena (que la conocéis muy bien, es también una blogger de Sizzix) publica un gran libro de scrapbooking, y Alberto Juárez (un scrapero de los grandes también) lanza una nueva línea de productos de tags de madera.
