Last minute Wedding Envelope :)

People usually spend a lot of time on planning their weddings, thinking about the party, ceremony, wedding dresses and all the other important matters. Wedding guests, willing to share the happiness with the newly married couple try to do their best to make this day unforgettable too... but life is only life and very often the event which was carefully planned becomes a big surprise for everyone and most of the important things are done last minute... I'm sure you know what I mean :)
That kind of story happened in my family just this week... due to some unexpected matters we spent more time than we planned on travelling, looking for right clothes, gift...everything. When we were almost done, next issues came to life! And the wedding day was coming, the clock was ticking... Finally we decided to give as a wedding gift the most popular thing last years - "The Envelope" :))) but...again... I wanted to make this present special, so I spent last night before the event making it by myself, with the help of Sizzix dies and Embossing Folders of course!
I wanted to share my idea with you here - it is quick, easy to do, but very pretty, elegant, suitable for wedding occasion I guess!

Here is a list of the things you need:
- 657843 Sizzix Movers & Shapers L Die - Pocket Envelope
- 657212 Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Hearts Set
- 657817 Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Moroccan Daydreams Set
- 1 12x12 patterned paper (7 Dots Studio "Domestic Goddess" - Overused Tablecloth)
- Ranger Distressing Ink (Walnut stain) and inking tool
- Ranger Stickles - Clear Rock Candy
- Tim Holtz embellishments: metal crown, mini paper clip
- Prima Say it in Pearls Flourish
- 1 paper doily 1 piece of paper lace, baker's twine, pearl brads, pins, 3D foam.

Start with cutting out an envelope from your patterned paper... and closing it without gluing yet. For the envelope you need to use 655092 Sizzix Accessory - Premium Crease Pad, Standard.

Put your envelope inside of the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and emboss it. Then Ink all the edges of the envelope with Walnut Stain Distressing Ink. Using Movers and Shapers Die set - Mini Hearts cut out  2 hearts that will be placed on the top of the envelope.

Embellish the envelope using a paper doily, cut-out washers, and pearl brads for the back. Use a piece of twine to close the envelope. On the front stick a piece of tulle, paper lace and first of the cut-out hearts. On the second heart stick a metal crown, tie the hart with a piece of twine and use some 3d foam to stick it on the top of the first heart.

Embellish the front adding Prima pearl flourishes, some elegant pins, Tim Holtz paper clip. Put a coat of Clear Rock Candy Stickles on the top of the heart and in the corners of the envelope. Let it dry for 20 minutes.
Now your Last Minute Wedding Envelope is ready - time to put a name tag and some money inside and give it as a gift to the newly married :)

I'm sure there are lots of designs from the Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders you can use for that kind of creations - just think about the possibilities you have!
Have a great, creative week!
