Valentine's Card and tag for begginers

Hi everybody!

Today my post is dedicated all Sizzix begginers. I'm going to show you how to make a Valentine's card and a tag using your Big Shot Starter Kit and the beautiful Free Valentine's Paper Downloads from the Sizzix Website.

Supply list:

•  658300 Sizzix Big Shot Starter Kit (Powder Blue & Teal)
• Free Valentine's Paper Download
• White cardstock
• Decorative ribbon
• Mini Clothespin
• Black gel pen
• Double sided tape, foam squares

To make the card simply print all the papers and create a card base with  white cardstock. Then hand cut some or the pattern papers to cover the cardstock and die cut a heart using the heart die from the Starter Kit. Finally hand cut some elements from the embellishment sheet, glue everything on the card and make some false stitching lines with a black gel pen.

To make the tag just hand cut a tag shape out of white cardstock. Then die cut the hole of it using the circle die from the Starter Kit and die cut the butterfly out of pattern paper. Next, hand cut some strips of pattern paper and the sentiment from the embellishment sheet and glue it on the tag and make some false stiching with a black gel pen. Finally embellish it with the butterfly, a clothespin and some decorative ribbon.

As you can see it is very easy to make beautiful cards and tags using this Sizzix products!

Mi entrada de hoy va dedicada a todos los principiantes. Os voy a mostrar cómo realizar una tarjeta y una etiquita de San Valentín utilizando los troqueles del Staerter Kit y los papeles que os podéis descargar en la web de Sizzix.

Supply list:

• Free Valentine's Paper Download
• Cartulina blanca
• Cinta decorativa
• Mini pinza de la ropa
• Rotulador negro
• Cinta de doble cara, foam adhesivo

Para hacer la tarjeta solo imprime los papeles y haz una base con cartulina blanca. Después recorta unos papeles para cubrir la cartulina y troquela el corazón. Por último recorta algunos adornos de la hoja de embellecedores, pégalo todo sobre la tarjeta y haz unas líneas con rotulador negro imitando un falso cosido.

Para hacer la etiqueta recorta la forma con cartulina y troquela el agujero utilizando tu Big Shot. Después recorta algunas tiras de papel decorado y la frase y pégalas en la etiqueta. Por último troquela la mariposa y adorna la etiqueta con ella, un falso cosido con rotulador negro, una cinta y una mini pinza de madera.

¡Ya veis qué sencillo es hacer cosas bonitas utilizando los troqueles y papeles de Sizzix!
