Here is a new page to remind us that the holidays weren’t so far ago after all! Colour, splashes and a background enriched with texture thanks to a “mere” Sizzix die.

I felt like creating a page based on inks and Sizzix die cuts. I started by cutting out 4 baroque frames out of white cardstock. Those frames are stapled to my white background. They will bring texture and volume to my page.

I sprayed three colours of ink to create a luminous colourful unique background!

Once my background is dry, I printed several stamp patterns with coloured inks or black Versafine. Stamps are there to bring depth to the project; they don’t have to be printed very neatly.

Then I added a small picture, stickers and here we are!

J'avais envie de créer ici une page à base d'encres et de découpes Sizzix. J'ai commencé par découper dans du cardstock blanc 4 cadres baroques. Ceux-ci sont ensuite agrafés à mon fond de page blanc également. Ils vont apporter de la texture et du volume à ma page.

J'ai vaporisé 3 couleurs d'encres en spray pour créer un fond lumineux, coloré à souhait et unique !

Une fois sec, j'ai imprimé plusieurs tampons avec des encres couleur ou ma Versafine noire. Les tampons sont juste là pour donner de la profondeur, leur impression ne doit pas être parfaite.

Il me suffit ensuite de rajouter une petite photo, des autocollants et le tour est joué !

An Easter gift

Hi everyone
Today I will show you a recycled box i have used, the box has been used for storage of eggs
After I have decorate the box I put chocolate-eggs in it and now it can be used as an Easter gift.

How to make:
I covered the box with a piece of patterned paper in the middle, glue the ribbon in to it
Die cut Frame Ornate in White cardstock and glu to the front, decorate using a brads
Die cut Jumbo tattered florals and garden greens. decorate the box using the die cut, flowers, feathers.To decorate the die cut flowers i used ponture paint.

Udstans Jumbo tattered florals og garden greens. Dekorer boxen med blomster de udstansede figurer , fjer , til sidst har jeg pyntet de udstansede blomster med pontura paint

My first project is a card where I mixed a few dies and
I also used one of the Sizzix stamps.

The phrase was first stamped on some leftover pattern paper 

and then the label die (658932) was used to die cut it.

As an addition to the stamped phrase I added three die-cut flowers.

March Card by Gerry van Gent

Hello Sizzix Friends!

Can you believe it? It`s already March.

And that means that Spring is just around the corner.

To Welcome the month of March I created a card for you

where I am using the new Jumbo Tatttered Florals die.

To make the flowers I used white soft packaging material.

I die cut two sizes of the tattered flowers - 

for each flower I die cut a few of the flowers.

I also used 4 different colours paint (sprays!).

Once the flowers were dry I used a heat tool to wrinkle the petals.

N.B. It takes only a second to heat in the middle so the petals will pop up.

This is how they looked like before I added the brads in the centres.

The leaves were die cut from the Garden Greens.

I die cut them from corrugated cardboard and pattern paper.

The die-cut leaves from pattern paper were also embossed and

then adhered on top of the corrugated cardboard ones.

Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!

Valentine's Day is approaching and today I would

love to share another project created for this occasion.

And once again for my today's project I used our FREE

Valentine's Paper Downloads.

Here is my tag....

I used one of the pattern papers as a background and

then I began adding embellishments to decorate it.

Different dies were used to die cut my embellishments...

The red heart - between the twine - was first stamped and then die cut.

You will find the word "cute" printed on one of the pattern papers - 

I used a small banner die which fit perfectly.
