Crafts for children part two: Colouring and die cutting card

Hi everybody! Elena here.

Are you enjoying your summer? Your children sure do, as they don't have to go to school, so we have to keep them entertained and one great way to do it is crafting with them. So today I want to show you a really fun card they can make with techniques than can be easily made by them: colouring and die cutting.

 Supply list:
  • colored pencils
  • Card: Green, white, pink, yellow, black
  • Adhesive
  • Foam squares

To create this card I have used the free Colour Your Own Papers by Sizzix that you can download just clicking on the image below.

You just have to print them in the card of your choice, I have used white and pink card, and colour them. You don't have to be great at colouring, just have fun!

Then I have cut my coloured paper in 1 cm strips and have attached to my card base with foam squares.

Finally I have die cut my sentiment from the Happines Phrases Thinlits die set and the flower is from the Starter Kit. It matches perfectly with de coloured paper!

Have fun crafting with your children this summer!

..........................
