March is off to a flying start.

Now that it's March we have the benefit of longer days, and spring is just around the corner, along with the Easter holidays, and daffodils and tulips.
all of which has nothing to do with the actual blog this week, but I just like the spring!
Our block this week is another favourite - Flying geese.
You only need 2 fabrics and 2 dies for this and it's quite easy to make.
Using the darker fabrics cut 8 x 1/4 square triangles, I cut these on the Big Shot  using die 657166.
Use die 657611 and the lighter fabric to cut 16 x 1/2 square triangles.
Arrange 2 light triangles  alongside 1 darker triangle as shown below.
Sew the triangles together.
Repeat this 7 times.

Next join the pieces together as shown below

Repeat this 3 times, and then arrange the pieces as shown below

Stitch the pieces together in pairs, and then join those pieces together - and your block is complete.

I hope you like this one - it's quick and easy.
Enjoy Mothers Day  in the UK, and I'll be back with more next week.
