Best wishes card

It’s the Greetings time of the year so here is a new card with bright colours to wish a Happy New Year to your loved ones!

658752 Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder 2PK-Peace Set

I wanted to create a bright and colourful card for a very lively person!

I used a sea-green printed paper from Studio Calico as background. I embossed a second piece of this very same paper with the folder from the “Peace” set. The embossed paper piece will be glued with double-sided tape on top of the other paper for a tone-on-tone effect.

On the smooth area will be printed the stamp "Meilleurs Voeux Joyeuses Fêtes". Then I had fun adding lots of embellishments here and there: ribbon, masking tape or a lovely gold star.

As a finishing touch, I added “2014”, still with the tone-on-tone effect.

J'ai eu envie de créer une carte colorée et acidulée pour une personne haute en couleur !

Mon fond est un papier imprimé vert d'eau de la marque Studio Calico. J'ai embossé le même imprimé avec une plaque à embosser du set "Peace". Le papier en relief sera collé au double face par dessus pour un effet ton sur ton.

Un tampon " Meilleurs Voeux Joyeuses Fêtes" sera imprimé sur la partie lisse. Je me suis ensuite amusée à multiplier les décorations : ruban, masking tape ou encore jolie étoile dorée.

2014 sera ajouté en touche finale toujours pour un effet ton sur ton !

Saying THANK YOU!

Hello everyone!
Today is my last day of posting on this gorgeous blog, but you won't get rid of me that easily! :)
It's been an incredible year creating and blogging for Sizzix and I can't thank them enough for the trust and kindness - it's been fantastic working for them the last year!

But I won't stop using Sizzix products, of course, how can I?

Today's special, it's my first project for Sizzix. I hope I can give you inspiration how to use the beautiful Sizzix products

Supply List:
Paper: Off-white cardstock Paper: Riddersholm design- Flea Market
Ribbon: Hug snug Seam binding
3D Foam
Ink:Distress Ink-Vintage photo
                             Tumbled glass
Hero Art Shadow ink-Cup O Joe-mid tone

How to make:
1.Fold a 15x30 off-white cardstock half to create a base 15x15 cm Cut a pieces of patterned paper    14.5x14.5 cm and glue to the centre of the card
2. Cut a strip of off white cardstock 6.5x 11.5 cm cut a strip of patterned paper 6x11 cm, glue the patterned paper to the centre of the cardstock. Attach the small cardstock to the card using 3D foam to add depth.
3. I used four different sorts of dies, starting with -Tag & bookplates-, embossing the tag using embossing Folder -Banner-. Decorated with Flowers set- Flower, Lovely-, lace -Distressed Doily dies- and ribbon.

Sådan gør du:
1.Jeg har foldet et stykke karton 15x30 cm off-white på midten så jeg får en base på 15x15cm. 2.Skær et mønsterpapir på 14,5 x 14.5cm lim på kortet. Skær et stykke off white karton på 6,5x11,5 cm og et stykke mønsterpapir på 6x11 cm lim det på kartonet og sæt det fast med 3D puder på kortet for at give dybde
3.Jeg har brugt fire forskellige Sizzix dies, startede med Tag & Bookplates som jeg embossede med embossing Folders-Banner og sværtede henover. Pyntede med blomster fra Flower, Lovely, til blonden har jeg brugt Distressed Doily.
