Metal foil flower on a box....

Hello there...

i love this cute box, that comes with the BigShot Plus Starter kit.
It is so cute and perfect for small gifts...

This time i decided to decorate the box with hearts and a metal foil flower.
I bought this foil a few years agobut i never did anything with it...

But it so perfect if you want to make flowers.
It is so easy to form.

For the flower i took Sizzix Bigz Die - Flower Layers & Leaf #2 and the
cute hearts were made with Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Candy Hearts

ich liebe diese kleine Box, die zusammen mit dem BigShot Plus Starter kit geliefert wurde.
Sie ist so süß und perfekt für kleine Geschenke...

Dieses Mal habe ich mich dazu entschieden die Box mit Herzen und einer Blüte aus
Metall zu verzieren. Ich habe die Metallfolie vor Jahren gekauft und nie etwas damit gemacht...

Dabei ist sie so perfekt für Blüten.
Sie lässt sich so toll formen und die Blüten wirken damit gleich viel plastischer.


Für die Blüte habe ich die Sizzix Bigz Die - Flower Layers & Leaf #2 benutzt.
Und die süßen Herzen habe ich mit dem Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Candy Hearts gemacht.

last week i saw this cute card at Annetts Blog.
Because of last weeks Daisy bouquet i had a lot of Daisy leftovers...

So i decided to do such a card on my own.

letzte Woche habe ich diese hübsche Karte bei Annett entdeckt und weil ich noch so
viele Gänseblümchen von letzter Woche übrig hatte, hab ich entschieden, mir auch eine
so eine Karte zu machen nur eben mit Gänseblümchen.

Handbag notebook

Hi Sizzix friends!!!

It’s Friday again, so I’ve prepared a notebook which is perfect to keep in my handbag to be able to take good inspirational notes on it!!! It’s not a big notebook I like to change frequently, so this 10x15cm size  is perfect for me!

I haven’t added a lot of details to prevent damage the cover on my handbag. The burlap had to appear on my notebook, I love this material!!! And of course some little piece of sparkly paper die-cut, and this candy hearts embossment.

Another material I like to use on my notebooks are the corrugated cardstock, in this case in black colour.

Some details of the notebook:

The layering frame  in sparkly yellow paper, and the inside in white cardstock where I’ve stamped “notes”

The candy hearts embossment with a black clip to match the corrugated 

and the stamped of the notebook.

And another stamp detail.

As I’ve liked the result, I have prepared another one for my penpal.

¡Hola a todos!

De nuevo es viernes, así que he preparado esta libreta para llevar en el bolso y que me permita tomar muchas notas inspiradoras!!! No es una libreta grande porque me encanta cambiarla amenudo, así que este tamaño de 10x15cm es ideal para mi.

No he añadido demasiados detalles para evitar que se estropee la tapa en el bolso. Y claro la arpillera tenía que aparecer en mi libreta, así como el papel purpurina que he troquelado y este repujado de corazones.

Otro material que me gusta utilizar para mis libretas es la cartulina corrugada, en este caso de color negro.

En los detalles de la libreta os enseño el marco troquelado en papel purpurina amarillo,y en la cartulina blanca interior donde he estampado "notes". La cartulina azul a la que le he realizado el repujado de corazones con un clip de color negro a juego con el corrugado y los estampados. Y un detalle de otro estampado con el sello de hormigas.

Como me ha gustado tanto el resultado he realizado otro libreta igual para mi destinataria de correspondencia.

Set of summer cards, Part 1/2: Watermelon

Hi Sizzix friends!

Today I want to show you the first of the two summer cards I have made. They are very clean and simple but with a fun result. The inspiration for these cards came from the way that Sizzix designer and blogger Pete Hughes takes profit of the dies and his example has motivated me to play with simple summer shapes. 

Let me show you the first card:  

For me watermelon is the fruit of the summer, so it is perfect for decorating this card to welcome the summer. 

Here are the materials you need to die-cut:

For the watermelon a piece of green and red cardstock, the circles Framelits, a piece of white cardstock, the decorative scallops strip die and the candy hearts embossing folder.

And now the steps to create this watermelon using only a circle die and the other steps to complete the card:

 Die-cut a green circle.

 Then die-cut only a part of the circle.

 Then die-cut a half circle in the red cardstock.

 We have the watermelon pieces!!!

 Die-cut a decorative strip in white cardstock to resemble a tablecloth in our card.

Emboss the decorative strip using the heart embossing folder.

 And now we have all the pieces for the card !!!

 But before putting all the pieces together, I have painted the seeds using a black gel pen.

Now we just have to put all the pieces together and add the message using a stamp or handwriting depending on what you prefer.

¡Hola a todos!

Hoy os quería enseñar la primera de las dos tarjetas veraniegas que he preparado. De estilo sencillo y limpio, como no, pero con un resultado muy divertido. La inspiración de estas tarjetas viene por la manera cómo el diseñador y blogger de Sizzix Pete Hughes le saca partido a los troqueles y sus ejemplos me han motivado a jugar con formas veraniegas sencillas.

Para mí la sandía es la fruta del verano, así que era perfecta para decorar esta tarjeta que le da la bienvenida al verano!!!

Estos son los materiales que necesitamos troquelar: Cartulina roja y verde para la sandía, el troquel circles Framelits, cartulina blanca, el troquel decorative scallops strip  y la caprtea de embossing candy hearts.

Y ahora los pasos para crear la sandía usando tan solo un troquel de círculo y los pasos para completar la tarjeta:

• Troquelar un círculo verde.
• Después troquelar una parte de ese círculo con la misma medida de troquel.
• Troquela medio círculo en rojo.
• ¡Ya tenemos las piezas de la sandía!!!
• Troquelamos una cenefa decorativa para simular el mantel de una mesa.
• Le haremos el relieve con la carpetilla de embossing.
• Ahora ya tenemos todas las piezas para la tarjeta!!!
• Pero antes, con un boli de gel negro le pintamos las pepitas (también se pueden hacer con embossing caliente)
• Tan solo nos queda juntar todas las piezas y listo.

Hearty PopUp Card

Spring is there and love is in the air....
so i was in the mood to make a hearty card - with that certain something...

First of all i dry embossed the background with the sugar sweet

Sizzix Texture Impressions Embossing Folder Candy Hearts #660477
(don't you love all the cute hearts?)

And than i embossed the hearts using white embossing powder because i wanted to
paint the background with watercolors and i wanted the hearts to stand out.
(Be careful with the Stamp-Pad)

While the color was drying i made the inside of the card.

I cut a few stripes in different lenght' into the card.
From the left side of the card to the right - straight across the fold.

Start and end at different positions - so you can create a more haptic look.

I placed a lot of hearts (Everyday Essentials - Big Shot Plus Starter kit #660515)
on this stripes....

Meanwhile the watercolor dried.

Some decorating with Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Layering Frames #660476 and
Everyday Essentials - Big Shot Plus Starter kit #660515 - now you have a hearty PopUp Card...

And it is perfect for hubbys birthday next week....

Hallo ihr Lieben,

der Frühling ist da und Liebe liegt in der Luft.
Und da hatte ich Lust auf eine "herzliche" Karte mit dem gewissen Etwas.

Zuallererst habe ich den Hintergrund der Karte mit dem Embossing
Folder Candy Hearts #660477 geprägt (liebt ihr diese vielen kleinen Herzen nicht auch?).

Und dann habe ich die kleinen Herzen mit weißem Embossing-Pulver embossed.
Ich wollte den Hintergrund mit Wasserfarben einfärben - aber die kleinen Herzen sollten
hervortreten...

Während die Wasserfarbe trocknete, habe ich in das Innenleben vorbereitet.
Zuerst habe ich ein paar Streifen in verschiedener Länge in das Papier geschnitten.
Von der linken zur rechten Seite - immer mit einem anderen Start- und Endpunkt.
so entsteht dann der haptische Effekt.

Auf die Ecken der Streifen habe ich jede Menge Herzen gesetzt, die ich mit Everyday Essentials aus dem Big Shot Plus Starter kit #660515 geschnitten habe.

Jetzt noch außen dekorieren mit Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 9PK - Layering Frames #660476 und
Everyday Essentials aus dem Big Shot Plus Starter kit #660515 - fertig ist die herzige Karte.

Genau richtig für Mennes Geburtstag nächste Woche.
