Movers and Shapers Camera Die Card


Hi there!

Today I'm sharing a card created by Godelieve Tijskens from the Darkroom Door Design team. Godelieve has created a photography themed car using the Vintage Alarm Clock & Camera Set Die with the Darkroom Door Film Frame Stamp. Awesome combination! 

 

Instructions:

1. Stamp the Film Frame Stamp several times onto white cardstock using Black Archival ink.

2. Mask around the edges of the Film Frame image with sticky notes and stamp the Pansies Photo Stamp using Achival Saffron (yellow) ink pad. Repeat on another frame.

3. Do the masking technique again for the other two film frames using the Frangipani Photo Stamp and Archival Rose Madder ink pad. 

4. Stamp 'click, click, click' using a stamp from the Darkroom Door Photography stamp set. 

4. Mount the entire piece onto black cardstock and then onto a folded pink card. 

5. Die cut the camera (Vintage Alarm Clock & Camera Set Die 657840) using black and grey cardstock. Attach to the card to complete!

For today's post I prepared for you a tag where I included a photo.

It`s a tag about one of my passions - photography.

* I decorated the right side of the tag with a cut-out from the Hanging Sign.

** Orange doily, under the framed photo, is part of the Doily & Doily Border die set.

*** When I die-cut the butterfly I sprayed water and I wrinkled it to give more texture.

For the title I mixed two different alphabet sets for more fun look.

And now a few photos from the Scrapbook Werkstatt Mega Event in Germany

where I gave two workshops to two BIG classes. I enjoyed teaching there so much!

And....the students enjoyed working with our Sizzix machines and dies.

I really had to bring not one....

....but all 3 Sizzix machines with me so everybody could have enough time 

playing and experience the excellent quality of the products.

And one of the lovely and talented students having fun with

the die-cut fence by Eileen Hull...

My very first step was to frame the photo.

I combined these two embossing frames ...

When I embossed the frame I removed the rectangle 

and adhered the frame on top of my photo.

Roses & Frame Set

When I embossed the flower frame I fussy cut

very carefully he thin frame including the flourish.

Then I "wrapped" the frame with it.

Tree & Flower Frame Set

The dragonfly was die-cut twice - once using white cardstock

and once pattern paper. For my project I used the one from the 

white cardstock decorated with pieces of the pattern paper die-cut dragonfly.

Then it was treated with a few colours ink.

I actually didn`t use the dragonfly as a dragonfly but to  decorate 

the gorgeous heart from the new Thinlits Dies Collection.

For the heart I used two sorts of pattern paper. The last layer (the dark one)

was painted with Transparent Crackle Paint.

The camera was first cut out of corrugated cardboard and after that 

once again I used two different pattern papers to dress it up. 

I used a swirly stamp to decorate on the right side and I added pearl drops.

I also painted the dark pattern paper with transparent Crackle Paint.

Vandaag heb ik weer een scrapbook pagina om te laten zien

Mijn eerste stap was om een lijstje voor de foto te creëren.

Ik heb deze twee reliëf lijstjes gecombineerd.

Toen heb ik het lijstje in reliëf gemaakt en heb ik de rechthoek uitgeknipt

en het lijstje op de foto geplakt.

Roses & Frame Set

Ik heb het reliëf bloemenframe voorzichtig uitgeknipt - inclusief de bloemen!

Daarna heb ik het frame om het andere reliëf frame gewikkeld.

Tree & Flower Frame Set

Om de libel te stansen heb ik witte cardstock gebruikt en

patroon papier. Ik heb de libel uit de witte cardstock gebruikt

voor mijn pagina en versierd met het patroon papier.

Vervolgens bewerkt met inkt.

Eigenlijk heb ik de libel gebruikt om het hart van het

 nieuwste Thinlits Dies Collection te versieren.

Ik heb weer twee verschillende soorten patroon papier

gebruikt. Op het donkere papier heb ik doorzichtig "crackle" verf gebruikt.

Het fototoestel was gestanst eerst uit golfkarton en vervolgens

versierd met patroon papier. De rechter kant heb ik gestempeld en

versierd met Pearl Drops. De donkere patroon papier is met doorzichtig 

Crackle Paint geverfd.
