Two projects by Gerry van Gent

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today I have two projects to share with you.
My first project is an altered item where I used a silhouette photo
of my daughter I "placed" in her dreams.

I created the fence by die cutting Garden Gate twice from corrugated cardstock

and pattern paper.  I didn`t use the whole gates but part of them.

Then I distressed with ink and decorated with embellishment.

Behind the photo I adhered Mariposa butterfly.

The Dogwood flowers were made of pattern paper. 

For the centres I mixed Transparent and Yellow liquid drops.

The leaves were die cut from white crepe paper. After that painted and 

shaped while they were still wet. Then I added transparent liquid drops.

Other: Cheesecloth, feather, Seam Binding Ribbon, button.

How to do:
Die cut the box and label in patterned paper with Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box, Square
Glue the box and distress the edges with  Distress ink Pad - Walnut Stain.
Stamp a text on label and glue it to the inside of the box.
Die cut some small labels in patterned paper and fabric, stamp various texts on these.
Die cut butterflies in patterned paper with  Sizzix Bigz Die - Mariposa and
leaves with Sizzix Bigz Die - Arbor . 
Glue butterflies and leaves to the top of the box.

Stans ut esken og den lille tag'en i mønsterark med  Sizzix ScoreBoards XL Die - Box, Square
Lim esken sammen og distress kantene med  Distress ink Pad - Walnut Stain.
Stemple tekst på den lille tag'en  og lim den på innsiden av esken.
Stans ut forskjellige tags og stemple tekster på disse.
Stans ut sommerfugler i mønsterark med   Sizzix Bigz Die - Mariposa 

og noen blader med Sizzix Bigz Die - Arbor .  

Lim sommerfuglene og løv på toppen av esken.

Putt det lille mini heftet laget av tags oppi esken og du har en fin gave å gi bort til en god venn.

I have used my sewing machine on this card to sew the butterflies and border to the card.

Packaing for a bottle of wine

Hi everyone
Today I will show you a packaging for a bottle of wine using different sorts of the beautiful Sizzix dies from Prima marketing

 

 

Items used:

Mariposa   658530

Elisse  658526

Estate 658527

Doily and Doily Border set 659058

Supply list:

Paper: Off White cardstock, Pion design-Playtime-

Ribbon:Hug Snug seam binding

Eyelets, Ponture paint-red-, one rose.

Ink: Distress ink-Fired brink-

Stamp: Vilda stamp

 

 

 

How to make:

The templates is easy to adjust to a size smaller or bigger

1. Cut off White cardstock or patterned paper 24x 26 cm, use scorpal, scor as shown on the templates.

2. Cut patterned paper 3,8x 18 cm , 6 pieces ink all edges. glue onto the cardstock

3. Make holes and fasten eyelets

4. Diecut using different sorys of Sizzix dies, glue onto the patterned paper.

5. Diecut using Doily and Doily borders to the bottom and decorate using the border.

6.Thread the ribbon through the eyelets and tie a bow. decorate with the red rose.

Now you have a perfect  gift for a person who has everything.

Manualen er nem at gøre større og mindre

1. Skær et stykke karton 24x 26 cm, brug scorpal, scor som vist på templates.

2. Skær mønsterpapir 3,8x 18 cm , 6 pieces ink alle kanter. lim til karton

3. Lav hul og isæt eyelets

4. Stands ud de forskellige Sizzix dies

5. Udstands Doily og Doily borders , brug til bunden

6.Før båndet igennem eyelets og bind en sløjfe og pynt med rosen

Nu har du den perfekte gave til personen som har alt

Today I've got a layout to share with you where
I combined old & new Sizzix dies.

The new butterflies Mariposa are so cute and adorable.

Love the fact that you can cut separately small wings and

adhere them so you'll achieve more dimension.

On my project the small butterfly was die-cut twice and the wings once.

I`ve used different pattern papers and as a final touch I added a resin in the centre. 

The other new die I used is the beautiful and so exquisite Classique Swirl.

The swirl was cut a few times from white cardstock.

I cut into pieces the swirl itself so I can have more swirls :-) 

and added to my project.

De nieuwe Mariposa vlinders zijn zo schattig en mooi.

Het feit dat je kleine vleugels kunt stansen en gebruiken

op je vlinder creëert een prachtig dimensie.

Op mijn pagina heb ik de vlinder twee keer gestanst 

en de vleugels een keer.

Ik heb verschillende patroon papieren gebruikt en 

in het eind heb ik een kleine decoratie toegevoegd.

De andere nieuwe stans dat ik heb gebruikt is de schitterende Classique Swirl.

*  *  *

De "swirl" is paar keer uit witte cardstock gestanst.

Daarna heb ik de "swirl" zelf in stukjes geknipt om 

meer "swirls" :-) te krijgen.
