I
first began with creating a painterly background for my photos and Sizzix die
cut embellishments using water color paints.
Whilst
the paint was still wet I blotted up some of the paint with 2 of the Sizzix die
cut leaf branches (blot up paint on the patterned side of patterned paper).
When
paint was dry I then arranged the cotton thread and adhered my photo to the
background.
I
cut out 3 lots of the Sizzix die cut flowers, I coloured these with splatted
water color paint.
Prima
chalk ink was applied to the edges of all the flowers, along with Prima decorative
brads and crystals to their centres. The layout
was completed using one of the smaller Sizzix die cut branches and assorted
small medium and large Sizzix die cut flowers; [as can be seen in close up
layout photos].
All
the edges of the tag were inked with the Prima chalk ink.
Use
the painterly technique as for the background on the tag and allow to dry.
Adhere
one each of the larger Sizzix die cut flowers and smaller branch to the tag.
Complete
tag by adding sentiment with Prima alphabet stickers and painting them to
coordinate with the tag color scheme.
I
coloured a strip of trim with coordinating water color paint for the tag, this
was then threaded through the hole and stapled in position. Hope you enjoyed my project.
