"Always Smile" Canvas by Gerry van Gent

Happy Sunday Sizzix friends!

Today I would love to share with you a canvas layout
where I used Sizzix dies to decorate the embellishments
and the canvas itself.

I used three different dies on the canvas but

none of them was used as a whole die.

Each one was cut into pieces and "spread" over the canvas.

A piece of the Cobblestones die was even used to

decorate the bulb embellishment for a special effect.

The Baroque Ornament was cut into three pieces:

* Two ornaments were used as "swirls" for the flowers.

** And a piece of the ornament was used to decorate the photo.

The Classique swirl was also used in pieces to decorate

all flowers on the canvas.

Christmas card

Happy Tuesday everyone
I hope you all had a beautiful week. Today I will show you a Christmas card using the beautiful Sizzix dies.

Items used:
Sizzix bigz Ornate Frame ( 658720)
Sizzix bigz Tattered Pinecone ( 657492)
Sizzix bigz Classique ( 658524)
Movers & Shapers Mini Stocking& Candy Carie ( 658775)
Supply list:
Paper: Riddersholm Design-Our Country Christmas- 6x6 paper stack and cardstock, green, reed and of white
Ink:Distress ink-Vintage photo-
Ribbon, metal charms and a little clothespin
How to make:
1. Cut a cardstock 29x14,5 cm, fold to make a card base 14,5x14,5 cm
2. Cut out 2 patterned paper 14x14 cm, glue to the centre of the front and backside
3. Die cut using the different sorts of Sizzix dies , ink the edged using vintage Photo
4. Decorate the card.

Jeg håber du har haft en dejlig uge. I dag vil jeg vise et julekort hvor jeg har brugt forskellige af de lækre Sizzix dies.

Sådan gør du:
1. Skær ud i karton of White 29x14,5 cm, fold på midten så kortet bliver 14,5x14,5 cm
2. Skær ud 2 stykker mønstret papir  14x14 cm, lim til centret af for og bagside
3. Udstans ved at bruge de forskellige Sizzix , ink kanterne med vintage Photo
4. Dekorer kortet

Hi everyone
Today I will show you how to make a giftbox using different sorts of Sizzix dies

Items used:

Supply list:

Paper: Vintage Summer basics1933  Maja Design

Ink: Distress ink Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint

brads, flowers, metal corners, Pearl maker- Gold-

Stamp: IC and Vilda stamp

 

 How to make:
1. Cut cardstock 29x17 cm, scor 13 cm and 16 cm
2. Cut 2 pieces of patterned paper 12,5x 16,5 cm and one piece 2,5x16,5 cm, glue onto the cardstockbase
3. Cut one cardstock 15,5x 19,5 cm scor 2 cm round the edges, cut one15x19 cm scor 2 cm
4. Ink all edges using Vintage Photo
5. Diecut using different sorts of Sizzix dies, tick-took diecut in recycled cardstock
6. Decorate the box using the differents sorts of shapes, metal corners, flowers and stamp
.

3. Skær et  stykke karton på 15,5x 19,5 cm, scor 2 cm hele vejen rundt, skær et stykke lidt mindre 15x19 cm , scor 2 cm hele vejen rundt

5.Udstands de forskellig Sizzix dies

6. dekorer med dies , blomster, stempler og metal hjørner.

which I created using a few new Sizzix dies.

This is what I did to make the gift box

1. Die Cut the bigger label 8 times:

- 4 times using corrugated cardstock

- 4 times using pattern paper

2. Attach the labels to one another by using 

double-sided tape.

3. Cut out of corrugated cardstock a square

 (approx. 7cm x 7cm) to use as a bottom.

4. Begin decorating the sides of the box:

- use flowers, cut outs, embellishments

- add the die-cut swirls, phrase, heart button, 

- add twine "handle" and decorate it with a 

die-cut heart border.

I also die cut the smaller size labels and add to 

two of the sides of the gift box.

Once again I die cut them from corrugated 

cardstock and pattern paper.

Loving Thoughts Set

I cut the big swirl from Sizzix Bigz Die Classique into parts so

I can spread it all over the canvas.

I used the Rose Vine Embossing folder with a pattern paper.

I embossed the pattern and then cut out only a few leaves for decoration.

The Fancy Rectangle was used here not as a frame.

I cut out the ornate parts and used them to decorate the canvas.

Behind the photo I used an embossed oval frame which

was embossed from the Loving Thoughts Set.

Today I've got a layout to share with you where
I combined old & new Sizzix dies.

The new butterflies Mariposa are so cute and adorable.

Love the fact that you can cut separately small wings and

adhere them so you'll achieve more dimension.

On my project the small butterfly was die-cut twice and the wings once.

I`ve used different pattern papers and as a final touch I added a resin in the centre. 

The other new die I used is the beautiful and so exquisite Classique Swirl.

The swirl was cut a few times from white cardstock.

I cut into pieces the swirl itself so I can have more swirls :-) 

and added to my project.

Hallo Sizzix vrienden!
Vandaag wil ik een layout met jullie delen waarmee
ik oud en nieuw Sizzix stansen heb gebruikt.

De nieuwe Mariposa vlinders zijn zo schattig en mooi.

Het feit dat je kleine vleugels kunt stansen en gebruiken

op je vlinder creëert een prachtig dimensie.

Op mijn pagina heb ik de vlinder twee keer gestanst 

en de vleugels een keer.

Ik heb verschillende patroon papieren gebruikt en 

in het eind heb ik een kleine decoratie toegevoegd.

De andere nieuwe stans dat ik heb gebruikt is de schitterende Classique Swirl.

De "swirl" is paar keer uit witte cardstock gestanst.

Daarna heb ik de "swirl" zelf in stukjes geknipt om 

meer "swirls" :-) te krijgen.
