Hello there,
first of all I would like to say that I am a proud owner of the new wonderful SIZZIX Big Shot Plus now. Thanks a lot for it!!
I am really happy about this machine, it is an amazing help with my bookbindings, because I am no longer limited to 15cm paper size. The new 'Plus' is simply awesome!

Today I would like to show you an album for the little girlfriend of my youngest son.

He is invited to her birthday party on next Saturday. Suitable to a wallet for pencils I bought, she will get this personalized album for her paintings.

First I cut out her name from thick paperboard, to get really striking letters. I covered the letters with the same fabric of the albumcover. Grey fabric with white dots.... I love it :)
For the letters I used one of my favorite products of SIZZIX: Fresh Blossoms Alphabet #659963
This alphabet has a brilliant font style!

Afterwords, I used the SIZZIX Thinlits Die-Set 'Home sweet home' #660800 and pressed it into the same Paperboard. Of course, the Thinlits are too thin to use with a thick cardboard! But I cut out each image twice and helped a little by using a cutter. It worked easily! 

I wanted to have the houses in the same or even better thickness as the letters. Two houses will be merged to one single house. 

I also covered the houses with nice paper suitable for a nearly 5 years old girl.

 After this I built the file album also with strong paperboard, fabric and a ring binder mechanism.

Clear & Simple Album by Anna

Hello! It's Anna here to share an idea using Sizzix products.

Today I wanted to share my travel album with you! To make the cover I used an A4 ring binder, that would allow to document the memories without having to bind the pages- simply punch the holes with a hole punch.

I knew one mini book would not be enough to hold all my photos, I decided to alter a journal binder instead. It's still a work in progress, but here is the cover which has been finished.

For embellishments I am using the new dies of “Life Made Simple” collection. I absolutely love it! Is perfect for a look clear and simple.

They are great for the Project Life scrapbook but you can explore creative options to craft instant elegant scrapbook pages, personalized cards, embellished gift tags and more!

Ciao, sono Anna e sono qui per condividere alcune idee utilizzando i prodotti Sizzix.

Oggi vi mostro un progetto facile facile, adatto anche a chi è alle prime armi con lo scrap e con la Big Shot! Ecco, infatti, la copertina di un album per raccogliere le pagine di un viaggio a Roma, di qualche mese fa, con tutta la nostra famiglia al completo: nove persone con tre bambini a zonzo per la capitale, è stata dura ma ce l'abbiamo fatta! So già che un mini album non sarebbe sufficiente a contenere tutte le foto più belle, quindi ho deciso di abbellire un raccoglitore ad anelli, realizzato in cartone ondulato e recuperato non so più dove. Con una struttura di album già fatta potrò poi creare le mie pagine scrap, che vi mostrerò mano a mano.

Il quaderno è la cosa più semplice da utilizzare per realizzare un album in formato A4, basterà solo “alterarlo” aggiungendo titolo e abbellimenti. Quindi se siete ancora agli inizi con lo scrap, ve lo consiglio caldamente. Come vi dicevo, l'album è ancora work in progress, ma nelle foto in alto vi mostro la copertina che ho terminato.

Ho voluto un look molto semplice e pulito, per cui come abbellimenti ho usato le nuove fustelle della collezione “Life Made Simple”. Mi piace tantissimo questa linea! È perfetta per un look semplice e moderno, come va tanto di moda ora.

Queste fustelle sono l'ideale per il Project Life, ma ho già in mente altre idee da sperimentare con la carta, dai layout ai mini album, dalle card al packaging e altro ancora.

Devo dire che dopo diversi tentativi di colori e carte, la scelta “minimal” del bianco su bianco è quella che ho preferito in questo caso e che spero apprezzerete.

Baby Binder Album

Hi Everyone! This is Anna.

I wanted to share my album with you today.  Oh I just absolutely enjoyed making this one!

I created this album to document those special moments between the new parents and their triplets!!! Yeeee!!!

My idea was to leave places for them to add the photos themselves. I kept this album very simple, but the possibilities to decorate any pages with Sizzix dies are endless.

To make the cover I used an A4 ring binder, that would allow to document the memories without having to bind the pages- simply punch the holes with a hole punch.

I completely covered this ring binder with a piece of upholstery fabric.

I added a Tag with the names of babies and I cut out also a paper Doily and a felt Heart.

I created some embellishments using the dies of Starter Kit. That Starter Kit dies has gotten a lot of use over the last year!

For some pages I used the adorable Thinlits Die Set 7PK - Elephant & Giraffe and Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Lion & Monkey.

I cant stop using them! They are both wonderful and can be used for many different types of projects.

 

 

For the last page I used some pockets with tags to writing the memories. The three smaller pockets are created with the beautiful Bigz Die - Envelope & Tag, Mini.

Ciao! Ecco un nuovo appuntamento con Anna.

Oggi vorrei condividere un album speciale!

Si tratta di un album che servirà a documentare i momenti più belli di due nuovi genitori e dei loro tre gemellini! Sì sì, sono tre, non è meraviglioso?!

La mia idea di partenza è stata quella di creare un album dove i genitori potessero inserire loro stessi le foto dei bambini, che essendo tre, sarà tutto triplicato, anche le foto! Un mini album quindi non poteva bastare ed ho dovuto optare per un formato A4! :D

Per fare ciò ho mantenuto l'album molto pulito e semplice, in modo che loro stessi potranno inserire altre pagine, se lo vorranno. Ma le possibilità di decorare le pagine con le fustelle Sizzix non mancano di certo.

Date un'occhiata alla copertina. Per farla ho usato un raccoglitore ad anelli di formato A4, perchè avendo l'album molte pagine, una semplice rilegatura con anelli liberi, non sarebbe stata adatta.

Essendo i bambini due femmine ed un maschio, ho voluto evitare i soliti colori pastello ed ho optato invece per uno stile più inconsueto ed un po' vintage. Ho ricoperto completamente questo quaderno con un pezzo di tessuto da arredamento, che gli conferisce l'aria vintage, da “quaderno dei ricordi”, appunto.

Sulla copertina, decorata anche con un pezzo di tessuto a contrasto, nastri e passamanerie, ho aggiunto una grossa tag tagliata con la BigShot, su cui ho stampato i nomi dei bambini ed ho fustellato anche un centrino di carta ed un cuore rosso di feltro, che hanno completato il tutto.

Per le pagine interne, ho creato alcuni abbellimenti utilizzando le versatili fustelle dello Starter Kit, che quest'anno ho usato molto.

Per alcune pagine ho usato le adorabile Thinlits Die Set 7PK - Elephant & Giraffe and Thinlits Die Set 8PK - Lion & Monkey che sono fatte apposta per gli album dei bambini! Non posso smettere di usarle! Sono entrambi due set meravigliosi e possono essere utilizzati per diversi tipi di progetti.

Per una delle ultime pagine ho creato poi dei piccoli “nascondigli” di alcuni pensieri e memorie. Per fare ciò mi sono servita di una bellissima fustella che crea delle piccole taschine con tag annessa.

L'album è piaciuto e questo lo devo anche alla mia Big Shot che mi ha aiutato nel lavoro ;)

Spero possiate trarne alcune idee e ispirazioni per fare i vostri album.

Before I go on with my close-up photos I wanted to tell you

how much I Love, Love the NEW Big Shot Machine

I Love working with it !

*I used for both tag and gate corrugated cardboard as a base.

*I used for the title a transparent phrase which I adhered

on top of the tattered banner using double sided tape.

Once I die-cut the gate from pattern paper I adhered it 

on the corrugated cardboard and distressed it by using 

sand paper.

To add an extra touch to the resin bird house I added

a swirl from the Filigee Border die.

The Garden Gate Album Die was used here to embellish the photo.

I die cut it by using corrugated cardboard and pattern paper at the same time.

In this way it pops and gives a beautiful dimension to your layout.

N.B. The wood grain pattern is from the paper collection!

The Pop 'n Cuts Butterfly Window Die was here used not

as a pop-up butterfly window but as an embellishment.

I die-cut it using two different pattern papers. After that I carefully

cut the butterflies out and sanded the edges.

Then I added in the middle of each butterfly a white rose as a final touch.

Hallo Sizzix vrienden!

Vandaag wil ik mijn laatste Sizzix pagina met jullie delen.

De Garden Gate Album Die  was hier als decoratie gebruikt.

Ik heb tegelijk golfkarton en patroon papier gestanst.

Op die manier geeft het hek een hele mooie dimensie.

N.B.  Het houtnerf patroon komt uit het patroon papier.

De Pop 'n Cuts Butterfly Window Die was hier weer gebruikt 

als decoratie en niet als een 3D vlinder raam.

Ik heb uit twee verschillende patroon papieren het vlinder raam gestanst.

Daarna heb ik ze voorzichtig uitgeknipt en langs de randen distressed.

Als laatste heb ik een witte roos precies in het midden geplakt.
