Hi, it's great to see you here again!
Last weekend I was really busy teaching classes - this time visiting beautiful, old city of Glasgow... but before that I had a pleasure to teach classes in France, Tours - and I've got a project to share with you - dimensional layout made during "Space-Media-Dimension" class in Tours. I hope you will enjoy!
As you can see I went a bit crazy with layers here - there are many pieces of patterned papers and many cut-out elements - I used 4 different Sizzix dies to cut white cardstock and get my elements for the layout.
Here they are (starting rom the top layers):
- Sizzix Sizzlits Die - Flower, Daisy (658502)
- Sizzix Sizzlits Die - Vintage Doily (658506)
- Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 2PK - Doily & Doily Border (658947)
- Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Interlocking Circles (658001)
Papers I used for this projects are from 7 Dots Studio: Canvas Resist elements and Mechanicals from Prima Marketing too - and the background is sprayed with Primary Elements (Luminarte) and painted with gesso. Both stencils are from Prima Marketing too!
All the student were so busy gluing, cutting, addling layers - I managed to take a photo or 2 of them, concentrated on their projects :)
We had great, creative time and all the students created wonderful, dimensional projects which made me proud and happy. Here is the final, group photo of us all taken just after the class:
See you soon - next weekend I'm in Sweden, Stockholm :)
hugs

Hi again friends!
Just as I promised I'm back with photo relation from our Scrapbooking Art Retreat in Poland - ProzArt 2013. This international scrapbooking event took place ina little town near Poznan - and one of the main goals of this extra long weekend was not only to meet people, take classes and create - but also take a deep breath and relax... and we succeed! This was one of the most amazing events of my life - and I'm very thankful to Sizzix for great support and sponsoring Prozart - it made our Art Retreat even more special!
But I'm here to share photos... just take a look a this bunch of lovely, talented, creative ladies from Poland, Finland, UK, Israel, Norway, Ireland and Romania :)
Here is what what we did during our creative weekend...
First of all - we had a lot of time for creating and a room full of wonderful, inspiring products we could use - mostly thanks to our great sponsors (including Sizzix of course!).
"Sizzix corner" was very popular during our evening crops and creative challenges...
We had challenges, games and prizes for the winners, of course!
And finally a photo session which gave us photos to use during 3 full-time classes taught by world-recognized designers: Karola Witczak, Kasia Krzyminska and me:)
In the end, there was always extra time for admiring the projects and thinking about some more creative fun!
What can I say? We all had great time and were sorry the event finished so fast. There was so much creative energy, wonderful personalities, new friendships and warm, supportive atmosphere it could last for a week longer :) It is not a surprise we are already planning ProzArt 2014, is it? :)
Sending good energy and warm hugs
Finn
Hi, i hope you had a great, creative week!
I'm back with some more inspiration for you... and I hope you will like it :)
Today I'm sharing with you another layout - effect of my work in the classroom in France, in Massy near Paris.
During "Space, Media, Dimension" class we use a lot of paper scraps, plain paper cut-outs (mostly from Thinlits, Sizzlits and Sizzlits Decorative Stirps) and as lot of 3D Foam (Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L). All that helps the students to create a dimensional, cleanproject like this:
Here you can see some more details: Sizzix cut-outs ripped into pieces and layered together with tons of little paper bits...
This kind of project is effect for those of you who have far too much of paper scraps and cut outs which you want to get rid of. Layering gives so many possibilities!
For this project I used Sizzix products listed below:
- 658502 - Sizzix Sizzlits Die - Flower, Daisy
- 657996 - Sizzix Sizzlits Die - Card, Scallop Circle Insert- 658001 - Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Interlocking Circles
Other supplies:
Papers - 7 Dots Studio - Dreamer Collection, Domestic Goddess Collection
Adhesives: Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L
Embellishments, stencils and stamps - Prima Marketing
Color - Luminarte Primary Elements
Ink - Ranger - Archivals - Jet black
Sending warmest hugs - I hope to see you back soon here on the blog!
