Art Journal For My Daughter


Hi All,

Today I would like to show you art journal that I made ​​especially for my daughter. She is 8 years old. She loves to draw, she loves to create collages and different projects from paper. And she wants her own art journal.

I created the inner sheets using watercolor paper. And I decorated the cover using Sizzix dies. My daughter loves animals. And she choose this cute dog for art journal cover.

Сегодня я хочу показать арт-журнал, который сделала для моей дочки. Ей 8 лет. Она любит рисовать, делать коллажи и всякие штучки из бумаги. И конечно, насмотревшись на меня, она хочет свой арт-журнал. Я не могла ей отказать. :)

Она очень любит животных, поэтому на обложке у нас красуется такая милая собачка, которую она выбрала сама.

Scrapbooking page "wau" by Janna Werner.

Hello there, this is Janna. Once again, I have a scrapbooking page to share ("Wau" means "woof-woof"). Although I love creating gift wrappings, cards and other fun stuff, scrapbooking is (and will always be) my number one :) The layout I am showing you today is about our dog Sindri (as my husband is rather shy when it comes to posing in front of my camera, our poor dog has to suffer ;) ).

I used the Banners, Filmstrip Frames and Tag & Bookplates Dies to create shapes with nice and clean edges, the hearts have been cut by hand. I love using the Sizzix dies to create highlights - the Big Shot is very easy to handle and you can cut everything really fast.

It was a bit difficult to glue the twine onto the layout, I used only small dots of liquid glue on some parts of the twine. Usually I am not a flower girl, but the colors of the flowers were just perfect for the color scheme of my layout :)

Hallo, hier ist Janna. Ich habe wieder einmal eine Scrapbooking-Seite vorbereitet. Obwohl ich sehr gerne Geschenkverpackungen, Karten und andere tolle Sachen herstelle, ist (und bleibt) Scrapbooking meine Nummer 1 :) Das Layout, das ich euch heute zeige handelt von unserem Hund Sindri (mein lieber Ehemann ist etwas scheu, wenn es um das Posieren vor der Kamera geht, daher muss der Hund dann leiden :) ).

Ich habe die Banners, Filmstrip Frames und Tag & Bookplates Dies verwendet, um saubere und gerade Formen zu stanzen, die Herzen habe ich per Hand ausgeschnitten. Ich liebe es, die Sizzix Stanzen zur Herstellung von Highlights zu nutzen. Die Big Shot ist sehr leicht zu bedienen und das Stanzen bzw. Prägen geht sehr schnell.

Es war ein wenig knifflig, den Twine auf der Seite zu befestigen, ich habe ganz kleine Kleckse mit Flüssigkeber aufgetragen und das Garn reingedrückt. Eigentlich bin ich ja nicht so das Blumen-Mädchen, aber die Blüten hier passten einfach perfekt zum Farbschema der Scrapbooking-Seite :)
