gift wrapping.... how we give self made pralines

Hello there...

we love to give self made gifts when we are visiting friends.
This time we love to make pralines on our own.

But before producing the pralines - i was thinking about the wrapping.

I decided to use Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 8PK - Bag, Tall...

Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) (i took the beautiful butterfly out of it)

I took the brush to remove the small pieces out of the pattern - but i did not remove all.

I love the unfinished look...

I fixed the butterfly at the breakfast-bag...

How to make a treat Christmas bag

Hello Sizzix Friends!
Making treat bags is so funny, especially in this period, so inspiring for me.

Christmas treat bags are perfect for sweets, small gift and handmade presents.
Here is my personal treat bag created with this amazing Set: Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 8PK - Bag, Tall (660840).

 

You need:
Sizzix Big Shot Plus Machine Only (White & Gray) (660020)
Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 8PK - Bag, Tall (660840)
Sizzix Framelits Die Set 10PK - Rectangles #2 (658610)
Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 16PK - Holiday Words 2: Block (660976)
Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513)
Glitter Cardstock
Kraft shiny Golden paper
Cardstocks
Scissors
Double-sided sticky tape
Double-sided foam pads

Die cut the treat bag using the kraft shiny golden paper sheet and the die from Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 8PK - Bag, Tall (660840).
Realize the decoration using one the the Thinlits available in the Set.
Because of its intricacy, Thinlit Die may require up to three passes to cut.
You need the Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513) to remove excess papers from the decoration.
Arrange the bag using double-sided tape and embellish it as you prefer.

Fustellate il sacchetto regalo usando un cartoncino satinato e la fustella principale del Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 8PK - Bag, Tall (660840).
Realizzate gli intagli usando uno dei thinlits presenti nel set.
Probabilmente, visto la quantità di intagli,  ci vorranno almeno 3 passate all'interno della macchna Big Shot Plus.
Una volta fustellato utilizzate Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513) per rimuovere l'eccesso di carta dalla decorazione.
Componete quindi il sacchetto utilizzando del nastro biadesivo e decoratelo a piacimento.

Watercolour hello card

Hi Sizzix friends!!!

This week has started a new month, light changes, colours change too … So today I wanted to show you a cute card I’ve created inspired on September, that includes a step by step to create this watercolour background. 

I’ve used the embossing folder botany decoration for the background and to achive the watercolour effect I’ve used my distress ink. I’ve also used the floral wreath, the layering frames and the hello word dies to create this cute card. 

Here are the steps for the background:

Ink the embossing folder with distress ink.

Spray with water all the surface.

Make the sandwich using a watercolour paper.

This is the beautiful result of this process !!!

Now is time to die-cut all the pieces:

The magnetic platform is a good choice to use with the thinlits!!!

 I’ve also used the brush to remove the die-cuts.

These leaves are beautiful !!! 

To create this card I’ve also used fabric in one of the layers and I've glued the different layers using the 3D adhsesive foam.

¡Hola a todos!

Esta semana hemos estrenado un nuevo mes, donde la luz cambia, los colores también... Así que hoy os quería enseñar la tarjeta que realizado inspirada en septiembre que incluye un pequeño paso a paso de cómo he creado este fondo efecto acuarela. 

Para el fondo he utilizado esta preciosa carpeta de repujado botany decoration y para conseguir el efecto acuarela he usado la tinta distress. Tambié he utilizado los troqueles floral wreath, el layering frames y el hello word para acabar de dar forma a esta tarjeta. 

Estos son los pasos para el fondo:

Entintar el interior de la carpetilla con la tinta distress como se indica en el foto.

Tirar agua con un vaporizador

Hacer el sandwich con un papel de acuarela o de alto gramaje.

El precioso recultado lo podéis apreciar en las fotos superiores.

Y ahora llega el turno a los troquelados, para ello he utilizado la base magnética que me va genial para los troqueles metálicos !!! Me he ayudado del cepillo para retirar las piezas más intricadas. 

Estas hojas me parecen preciosas!!!

Una vez tengo todo troquelado y cortado llega el momento de montar la tarjeta, he ido haciendo capas, en una de ellas he utilizado tela.

Hoy os enseño mi última página, de motivación personal, en la que quiero transmitir que todo lo que te propongas se puede conseguir con trabajo duro, como subir a la montaña más alta.

Estos días estoy trabajando con dos de los nuevos accesorios de Sizzix que me encantan: la Precision Base Plate y el Die Brush and Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies combinados con mi Big Shot. Me encanta lo fácil que es troquelar, desprender y limpiar estos troqueles tan intrincados con estos accesorios! 

Os pongo unas fotos para que veáis cómo se utilizan. Y también podéis ver una imagen de lo bien que quedan una vez troquelados estos diseños de palabras de Tim Holtz. Realmente me encantan estos nuevos accesorios!

Colourful coasters for summer!

Hi Sizzix friends!!!

During the summer holiday it’s time to create something beautiful with our children. In this case we have decorated colourful coasters. We’ve passed a good time together trying colours and die-cutting.

Let us show you these fun coasters!

To create these coasters we have used standard cork coasters. Then we decided the colours to paint them and the dies to create girly coasters and boy coaters.

These are the materials we have used:

My Big Shot Plus, Layering daisy #2 dies, layering daisy die, splat die, die brush, cork coasters, different colours cardstock, acrylic paint, a paint brush and gel medium.

And here are the few steps to decorate them:

First we have paint in different colours one of the faces of the coasters.

Then we’ve die-cut in different colours cardstock the shapes we liked for each coasters. We’ve used the magnetic platform to die-cut with the thinlits.

We have die-cut big flowers to match the little ones.

Finally we’ve made our own combination and glued using the gel medium. We have also applied gel medium all over the top of the coasters to prevent from damaging the paper.

And this is the favourite of  my younger son.

Now we are ready to receive our friends at home and invited them to a delicious juice using these fabulous coasters!

¡Hola a todos!

Durante las vacaciones de verano es un gran momento para crear algo alegre con nuestros hijos. En este caso hemos decorado unos posavasos. Y lo mejor ha sido el buen rato que hemos pasado juntos. Pero mejor os enseñamos el resultado:

Para crear estos pasavasos hemos utilizado unos de corcho estandar. Entonces tocaba escoger colores y troqueles para darles un toque más de chica o chico (así hay para todos).

Los materiales utilizados son: Mi Big Shot Plus, los troqueles layering daisy #2 , layering daisy, y el splat, el cepillo, posavasos de corcho, cartulinas de colores variados, pintura acrílica, pincel y gel medium. 

Y estas son las imágenes de los pocos pasos necesarios: 

- Pintar una de las caras de los posavasos.

- Troquelar los motivos para decorarlos

- Combinarlos como más nos gusten.

- Encolar con gel medium y aplicar una capa por encima para proteger de manchas el papel.

Ahora ya estamos listos para recibir a nuestros amigos en casa e invitarlos a un zumo utilizando ¡¡¡estos alegres posavasos!!!

You Are Mine - Happy Birds Card

Hello Sizzix Friends,
This week has been so warm in Italy but yesterday finally rain has come!
I'm dreaming fall and winter seasons and their warm colours.
Red and mustard shades are always my favourites!

I realized a new romantic card with the Tribal Adventure dies.
I hope you enjoy it.




You need:
Sizzix Thinlits Die - Happy Birds (660497)
Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Chevron Texture (660506)
Banner from Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4 PK - Speech Bubbles (660801)
Decorative Strip from Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) (660515)
Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513)
White card
White mini card
Cardstocks (kraft, cream, chevron mustard, red)
Double-sided sticky tape
Scissors
Stickers



Emboss a white small card using Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Chevron Texture (660506).
Die cut a decorative strip using the die from Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) (660515) and a Kraft cardstock.
Die cut the Happy Bird using a kraft cardstock first and a cream cardstock after.
Die cut a banner using a mustard chevron patterned cardstock and a die from Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4 PK - Speech Bubbles (660801).
Paste the white embossed mini card on a bigger white card using the double-sided sticky tape.
Fix the decorative strip on one side of the card using a long piece of thin double-sided sticky tape.
Remove the excess paper from the Happy Birds using the Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer (660513).
Mix and match the paper pieces to get the final Happy Birds (I die cut the heart using a red cardstock).
Paste the double-sided sticky tape on the back of the birds to fix the paper pieces.

Realize a red label with a label maker and put it on the card using, if necessary, a thin piece of double-sided sticky tape (fix the banner between the card and the red label).
Add a romantic round sticker.
Remove the protective film from the back of the Happy Birds and fix them on the card.
Add two pieces of autumnal washitapes above the Happy Birds.
Add some alphabet stickers to get the word LOVE.

That's it!

In questi ultimi giorni in Italia c'è stato tanto caldo ma finalmente l'altro giorno è arrivata un po' di pioggia.
Sto già sognando la stagione autunnale e invernale e i loro caldi colori.

Goffrate il piccolo biglietto bianco usando Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Chevron Texture (660506).
Fustellate la striscia decorativa usando la fustella presente nello Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit (White & Gray) (660515) e un cartoncino kraft.
Fustellate gli Uccellini Felici con un cartoncino kraft prima e crema successivamente.
Fustellate un banner usando il cartoncino chevron senape e la fustella presente nel Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 4 PK - Speech Bubbles (660801).
Attaccate il mini biglietto bianco sul biglietto più grande usando del biadesivo.
Posizionate la striscia decorativa su un lato del biglietto e fissatela con del biadesivo sottile.
Rimuovete l'eccesso di carta dagli uccellini aiutandovi con Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer (660513).
Componete gli uccellini mescolando i due cartoncini, usate come base gli uccellini kraft e applicate le decorazioni color crema fissando sul retro dei pezzi di biadesivo.

Realizzate un'etichetta rossa con un'etichettatrice e posizionatela sul biglietto usando, se necessario, un pezzo di biadesivo (ricordatevi di fissare il banner chevron tra il biglietto e l'etichetta).
Aggiungete un adesivo rotondo.
Rimuovete la pellicola protettiva dal retro degli uccellini e fissate anche loro sul biglietto.
Aggiungete due pezzi di washitape dai colori autunnali sopra le zampe degli uccellini.
Aggiungete degli adesivi alfabeto componendo la parola LOVE.
