Timeless Love - gift box or favour

Hi Sizzix fans! Anna here with today’s Sizzix Tutorial.

I'm showing you two sweet Gift Boxes, very easy to make and so lovely!

I used Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 6PK - Timeless Love Gift Box so sweet!

This Box die is perfect to create a party table setting, wedding favour... or a cute gift box for Christmas.

Ciao a tutti i fans di Sizzix! Sono Anna ed oggi sono qui con un nuovo tutorial.

 

Nelle foto qui sopra vi mostro due scatoline, molto facili da fare! Per realizzarle ho usato la fustella per Big Shot Plus: Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 6PK - Timeless Love Gift Box , dolcissima!

Il set di fustelle oltre alla scatolina base, comprende diversi abbellimenti come un uccellino, una rosa, un fiorellino ed un paio di rametti differenti.

Questa fustella, di grande formato, è sicuramente ideale per creare bomboniere di ogni tipo e scatoline regalo per ogni occasione.

Autumn Leaves Gift Box

Autumn has really arrived here in the UK and I am loving all the changing colours of nature. So this week I was inspired to make an autumn leaves gift box. Emily Atherton has produced some beautiful dies for us to work with; each with a pretty nature theme.

Here are the supplies I used for this project:

• Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit
• Emily Atherton Timeless Love Gift Box Die (#660883)
• Scrapbooking papers / Card stock
• Glue

Cutting the box out is so simple as it is all one piece and doesn't require any glueing to hold it in place. I just used a little bit of glue to attach the leaf pieces. 

I think this will be a great die to use for gift wrapping at Christmas. I might make some truffles for my neighbours in these gift boxes.  

What do you think? I like the geometric pattern in contrast to the soft leaves. I'm definitely cutting more of these out for my autumn mantel display!

Pumpkin Candy Holder

Hi everybody! Elena here. 

Today I want to show you a small box that you can use as a candy holder perfect for autumn or Halloween.

Supply list:

• 660020 Sizzix Big Shot Plus
• 660841 Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 13PK - Box w/Fancy Lid
• 657551 Sizzix Framelits Die Set 8PK - Circles
• Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die
• Card: brown, orange, craft, white
• Pumpkin Stamp
• Color pencils
• Twine
• Glossy Accents
• Black gel pen
• Foam Squares

To make this candy holder I have die cut the box shape out of Kraft card and assembled it using some strong double sided tape. Then I have die cut the decorative strip and glue it around the box. To make the main embellishment I have die cut two small circles and attached to the front of the box using some foam squares. 

Finally, I have stamped the pumpkin, I have cut it very carefully, glued to the circles and put some glossy accents on top.

¡Hola a todos!

Hoy os enseño una pequeña caja perfecta para regalar una par de chocolatinas este otoño o como detalle de Halloween.

Para hacerla he troquelado la forma de la caja con cartulina craft y la he pegado con cinta de doble cara fuerte. Después he troquelado y pegado la tira decorativa y un par de círculos con foam adhesivo.

El último toque lo pone la calabaza estampada, que he recortado a mano con mucho cuidado, coloreado un poco, pegado en los círculos y puesto un poco de Glossy Accents.

Autumnal case

Hi everybody!

I propose a small box in the colours of the season.

The gift box:

I used the die "Leaves", the biggest model of flower, then I positioned my Alphanumeric’s letters to create my word inside the leaf.

The magnetic plate is ideal for this type of cut, as the letters do not move when put inside the Big shot.

Then it is enough to decorate with some fabric or tulle, some thread, ribbon and why not some small branches to give the desired autumnal effect.

Here is an attractive case for a small gift!

Ecrin automnale,

Je vous propose une petite boîte dans les les couleurs de la saison.

J'ai utilisé le die "leaves", le plus grand modèle de fleur, puis j'ai positionné mes lettres de l'"Alphanumeric" afin de créer mon mot à l'intérieur de la feuille:

la plaque magnétique est idéale pour ce type de découpe, car les lettres ne bougent pas au moment de les passer dans la Big shot.

il suffit ensuite de décorer avec du tissu ou du tulle, de la ficelle, du ruban et pourquoi quelques petites branches pour donner l'effet automnale souhaité...

Voilà un joli écrin pour un petit cadeau!

Monochrome Favour Box

Recently, I picked up some marbled cardstock to make a few projects with. I thought it would be great for the gift box die which is included in the Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit.

I like to use a bone folder along all the folds of the box and then a hot glue gun to assemble it.

I added ribbon and a scalloped trim to make this monochrome favour box. It would be great for a classy wedding or even as a gift box for a birthday.

It was hard to photograph the marbled pattern, but I hope you can see it a little bit in these photos!

Cupcake gift box with using the Big Shot Plus.

Hi everybody! Elena here. 

Do you like cupcakes? Sure you do! I love them, and I love to gift them in a thoughtful and beautiful way. Making a box to put our home made cupcakes can be very difficult, but with the help of the wonderful Big Shot Plus and the new Cupcake box Thinlits Plus Die Set it is very quick and easy.

• 660842 Sizzix Thinlits Plus Die Set 19PK - Box, Cupcake
• Card: Pink
• Pattern paper
• Black gel pen
• Adhesive

I love how this die set includes a lot of dies to embellish the box. In this case I have used some of the rectangles, ovals and the star to make some layering on the side of the box and I have used little embossing line that you get on the sides to make some dash lines and bend the borders. This way you create a patchwork effect.

¿Os gustan los cupcakes? A mí me encantan y me encanta regalarlos, pero a veces hacer una caja para ponerlos es un poco complicado. Con ayuda de la Big Shot Plus y el set de troqueles Cupcake Box la verdad es que resulta muy rápido y sencillo.

Me encanta también cómo este set viene con un montón de troqueles para adornar la caja. En este caso que utilizado unos rectángulos, el óvalo y la estrella para poner algunas capas al lateral de la caja. También he aprovechado la línea de embossing que se obtiene en estos troqueles para doblar los bordes y hacer un falso cosido. De esta manera obtenemos un efecto patchwork con el papel.

Hello Sizzix friends and Happy Sunday!

I have today two gift boxes to share with you.

The flower on the top is die cut from the Bigz A5 Die from the Starter Kit.

After that it was embossed with Botany Decoration embossing folder

and then shaped, distressed with ink and glued .

Each flower has 4 layers.

I punched the Large Butterfly twice, adhered on

top of each other and added glitter .

I used the Decorative Bubbles to make a small "window"

on the front side of the gift box.

Glitter Milk Carton Gift Box

The milk carton box die is so cute. When it arrived this week, it was much smaller than I expected, but I thought it would be perfect for small gifts or sweet treats!

I really enjoyed making this with some bright summery scrapbook papers and glitter tape. I absolutely love the new magnetic platform. It makes cutting the thinlits dies really easy.
