Headband

Hi everybody!

Life isn’t just about scrap… So today I suggest to create your own headband thanks to Sizzix and the Big shot!

I cut the rosette die of Tim hotlz into a fabric to create a pretty pattern that will be paste on a simple headband.

Once the rose window was made, I pasted it on a round of felt to stiffen it a little, then I decorated its center with a brad covered of fabric.

I put all in place where I wanted it then I pasted another round of felt underneath, to maintain the rose window in position on the headband.

And here is a lovely present to customize as you wish!

Serre-tête de Cléo

Comme il n'y pas que le scrap dans la vie… je vous propose un petit serre-tête à créer vous même grâce à Sizzix et la Big shot!

J'ai utilisé le die Rosace de Tim hotlz dans du tissu pour créer un joli motif à coller sur un serre-tête tout simple

Un fois, la rosace découpée, je l'ai collé sur un rond de feutrine pour la rigidifier un peu, puis j'ai décoré son centre avec un brad recouvert de tissu.

J'ai positionné le tout à l'endroit souhaité sur le serre-tête puis j'ai recollé un rond de feutrine en dessous pour bien maintenir la rosace en place sur le serre-tête…

et voilà un joli à cadeau personnalisante à souhait!

Bente's Sunday mixed media page

Hi there!

Today I have a page that I had a lot of fun creating. I pulled out some of my mists, gesso, stencils, gelatos etc and had a play. This is what I came up with. The hard part is knowing when to stop! :-)

I used a number of fabulous Sizzix products to make this page. 

Of course I started with my beloved Big Shot and starter kit. And to make those beautiful Tattered florals I had great help from the Susan's Garden tool kit. I really enjoy using it so much!

 Don't you agree the combination of hand made and store bought flowers looks good?! :-)

The butterfly is part of the starter set together with the Big Shot.

In the photo below you can see how I used the negative pieces from the 'Trellies' to help build up some textuere for the background. I then covered them in gesso to make them a little more subtle.

Apart from these products I used papers from the Songbird collection by Prima Marketing and some of their beautiful flowers as well.

Idag bjuder jag på en sida där jag använt några av mina många mistflaskor, gesso, gelatos stenciler etc. Och jag njöt i stora drag när jag fick kladda med alla dessa ,...problemet är bara att veta när man ska stoppa!

Jag använde flera av mina sköna Sizzix produkter på denna mixed media sida. Jag började såklart med att plocka fram min Big Shot med starter kit. Och för att göra de snygga Tattered florals som jag gillar skarpt hade jag stor hjälp av Susan's Garden tool kit. Jag är verkligen stormförtjust i dom!
 Jag tycker verkligen att kombinationen av handgjorda och köpta blommor gör sig bra!

I det nedersta fotot kan nio se hur jag använde bitarna som blev över efter att ha skurit ut mitt 'Trellies' mönster. Efter att lager med gesso sjunker de precis lagom in i bakgrunden och ger mig efterlängtad tekstur.

Hi! today I have a page in lovely bright colours to share. I had two rather similar pictures that I wanted to use on the same page, and to add a bit of pizazz I decided to try die cutting them. 

I quite like the look and will definitely do that again. I diecut another oval slightly larger to 

act as a frame to make the photo stand out more from the background, 

I embellished these frames with liquid pearls.

Hejsan! Idag har jag en sida att visa som går i ljusa fina vårfärger.

Jag hade två liknande foton som jag ville använda tillsammans och bestämde mig för att prova skära runt dom med en die. Jag gillar verkligen hur det blev och kommer göra det många fler gånger. Jättekul! Jag skar ut en oval som var snäppet större än fotot också för att ha som en liten ram. Sedan pyntade jag denna med lite liquid pearls.

How to make:
Make a cardbase using white cardstock 12x13,5 cm. Cut out patterned paper 11,5x 13  cm
Die cut the different sorts og sizzix die glue to the cardbase using 3D foam

Lav en kortbase i hvidt karton på 12x13,5 cm. Skær et stykke mønstret papir på 11,5x 13 cm og lim til kortbasen. Udstans de forskellige die og lim dem på med 3 D foam

Ballroom Slippers

Happy Tuesday everyone

I hope you all had a great week. Today I will show you ballroom slippers made with Sizzix Bigz L die Ballroom Slippers and how I made a box for shoes

Supply list:

Paper: Little yellow bicycle-Love letters-, Papir Design-Herman & Emilie, cardstock pink and of white.

Stamp: KaiserCraft clear stamp -You-

Ink: Hero Art- Art print brown-

Lace, Pountura paint.-pink-,half pearls and leaves

How to do:

1. Die cut the shoes with Sizzix bigz L -Ballroom slippers , do the same again so you have 2 shoes

2.Glue the different diecuts together

3. Decorate using decorative strip rosettes, 2 small  to decorate the shoes and one big rosette to decorate the top of the box

4. Decorate using lace round the shoes

5.Cut out a cardstock 20x24 cm, score 5 cm round

6. Cut out a cardstock 16x20 , score 2,5 cm round , it is the top , decorate using patterned paper, lace, leaves, big rosette and stamp text

1. Udstans skoene ved at bruge Sizzix bigz L -Ballroom slippers , gør det samme engang til så du får to sko

2.Lim de forskellige udstansede dele sammen

3. Dekorer ved at bruge Mini Rosetten ,, de 2 små bruges til skoene og den store til at pynte på æsken

4.Dekorer sko og æsken med blonder rundt

5.Skær ud karton 20x24 cm, scor 5 cm rundt

6. Skær ud karton 16x20 , scor 2,5 cm rundt , dette er toppen af æsken, dekorer med mønstret papir, blonde, blade, rosetten og tekst
