Pop 'n Cuts Butterfly & Hearts Card

Hello! It's Anna here to share some ideas using Sizzix products.

Today I have a card to show you. I have used some Sizzix Dies on this project.

I love my Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 3PK – Love of “Life Made Simple” collection. Put this die together with the Pop’N Cuts Card Base Big Shot Die and you end up with a unique card.

I gave this card to my friend for her birthday.

Here is the finished card:

 

 

To make the front card I die-cut hearts background out of light pink cardstock and I play with the small hearts.

 

 
Let's look at the card's inside:
 

 

To make the inside I die-cut two butterflies (from Bigz die of Starter Kit), a rose 3D and a label. Use embossing folders to create a textured background on the butterflies.

Ciao, sono Anna e sono qui per condividere alcune idee utilizzando i prodotti Sizzix.

Devo dire che mi piace molto la collezione di fustelle “Life Made Simple”. Se metti insieme lo sfondo a cuoricini con con una fustella Pop'n Cuts, si arriva sicuramente a produrre qualcosa di unico.

E siccome dovevo fare una card per il quarantesimo compleanno di un'amica, ho cercato un'idea speciale per fare gli auguri... e spero di esserci riuscita ;)

Per fare il fronte del biglietto ho fustellato lo sfondo a cuori dal cartoncino rosa chiaro ed ho poi giocato un po' con i cuoricini di diversi colori, che ho messo qua e là. Lo sfondo l'ho incollato sulla base card fucsia, completando il tutto con un fiorellino.

L'interno della card Pop'n Cuts l'ho decorato con due farfalle (usando la Bigz dello Starter Kit), una rosellina 3D e un'etichetta tagliata su carta da lucido. Le farfalle le ho anche embossate con mascherine differenti, per dare più rilievo, visto che la carta fantasia che ho scelto è molto decorata e scura. Strass e perle hanno dato il tocco finale, per illuminare anche un po'.

Happy Winter Birthday

Hi Sizzix fans! It's  Anna posting today.

Even during the months of December and January, we have birthdays. Mine is in August, I never had a party during school days because everybody is on summer vacation at that time. December and January are pretty much ruled by holiday celebrations, so don’t forget the birthdays in these months!

Today I shown a fun winter birthday card. For my niece I thought it would be fun to combine a winter theme with a birthday theme using Snowman and Banner. I created also two half window, that are the fun shaker boxes!

How to make:

Place the magnetic Pop 'n Cuts Frame inside the base die and die-cut from cardstock. Fold along the crease lines as shown to bring the pop-up forward.

Place a piece of patterned paper over the top half of the Card and die-cut, trim away the pop-up and attach to the Card.

Cut a front of Card. Crease and place over fold on back of Card to cover opening.

Cut out a Conservatory Window from the kraft cardstock, halve. Cut two shape from acetate to create the glass of windows. Apply into the card inserting some sequins and close with washi tape.

Cut out and assembly the Snowman, using cardboard to give dimension. Cut out also a blue snowflake. Glue the Snowman above pop-up and the sentiment as shown.

Embellish Card with banners, hearts and strass. Finish by embellishing the Card front as desired.

Buongiorno a tutti gli appassionati della Big Shot! Sono Anna con un nuovo progetto per voi.

Anche durante i mesi di Dicembre e Gennaio capita di avere dei compleanni in famiglia. Ci sono mesi particolari per i compleanni dei bambini. Il mio è in Agosto, per cui da bambina non ho mai potuto fare una festa durante i giorni di scuola, perché tutti erano in vacanza. Dicembre e Gennaio sono praticamente invasi dalle celebrazioni delle feste natalizie, così è giusto non dimenticare i compleanni dei bambini che avvengono in questi mesi!

Quello che vi mostro oggi è un biglietto di compleanno invernale, creato per la mia nipotina, che ha compiuto gli anni a metà dicembre. Per la sua card ho pensato che sarebbe stato divertente mettere insieme un elemento invernale con un elemento "da compleanno": Pupazzo di neve e Bandierine! Ho creato anche due mezze finestra di sfondo, che sono anche delle simpatiche shaker box. Guardate le foto sopra e le spiegazioni qui sotto e capirete meglio ;)

Per fare tutto ciò ho usato un bel mix di fustelle...

Procedimento:

Collocare la Pop 'n Cuts Frame, all'interno della fustella base e tagliare il cartoncino beige a pois. Piegare lungo le linee guida, per portare in avanti il pop-up.

Posizionare un altro pezzo di carta fantasia beige sopra la metà superiore della card e fustellare, tagliare via il pop-up e incollare sulla card.

Tagliare il fronte della card con cartoncino lilla, un po' più lungo (serve a nascondere il pupazzo di neve quando sarà chiusa). Piegare e posizionare sopra la piega sul retro della per coprire l'apertura del pop up.

Tagliare una Finestra Conservatory Window dalla carta kraft e tagliarla a metà. Tagliare due forme dall'acetato per creare il vetro delle finestre e due forme uguali con carta fantasia per lo sfondo interno. Far aderire alla card, come mostrato, inserendo alcune paillettes tra l'acetato e lo sfondo a fiorellini, chiudendo poi lateralmente con washi tape per non far uscire le paillettes.

Tagliare ed assemblare il Pupazzo di neve, usando anche del cartone per dare rilievo. Tagliare anche un fiocco di neve azzurro. Incollare il pupazzo di neve sopra il pop-up e il fiocco di neve con la scritta, così come mostrato nelle foto.

Abbellire con bandierine, cuori e strass. Terminare abbellendo anche la parte anteriore della carta, se si vuole.

Retro Santa Xmas Card

I know you are so busy! I know you’re shopping, decorating, wrapping, baking and going to Christmas parties. After all... it’s the busiest time of the year!

But just in case you had a few extra minutes... look my last Sizzix project! :)

This week I wanted to show you a card I made using Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK w/Stamps - Retro Christmas (659377), are perfect for a Christmas card. With this kit you can make great cards simply and easily!

For this card I decided to use also the Pop 'n Cuts dies, to make a Christmas "surprise" and I go with a retro theme.

Place the magnetic Pop 'n Cuts Frame inside the base die and die-cut from cardstock. Fold along the crease lines as shown to bring the pop-up forward.

Place a piece of patterned paper over the top half of the Card and die-cut, trim away the pop-up and attach to the Card.

Cut three white stripes to look like snow, layer on top of each

other and adhere.

Cut a front of Card and use embossing folders to create a textured background. Crease and place over fold on back of Card to cover opening.

Stamp and die cut the Santa and the sentiment in Versamark ink and use copper powder over the top. Glue the Santa above pop-up and the sentiment as shown.

Embellish Card with die cut stars, stickers and strass. Finish by embellishing the Card front as desired.

So che siete molto impegnate in questo periodo tra shopping, decorazioni, impacchettamenti, cene, recite di Natale ecc. Dopo tutto... è il momento più movimentato dell'anno!

Ma se avete un minuto... vi faccio vedere la mia ultima card natalizia :)

L'ho fatta usando un bellissimo set di Framelits provvisti anche di timbri, Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK w/Stamps - Retro Christmas (659377). Con questo kit è possibile fare meravigliosi biglietti semplici e veloci, ve lo consiglio!

Qui, però ho voluto fare qualcosa di particolare, una piccola sorpresa natalizia, realizzando una card pop up, con un look semplice, ma retro' dato dal bel timbro del set. Il biglietto può essere anche un mezzo carino per offrire una "gift card", nascosta tra i "cumuli di neve" o sul retro... ecco così un'idea per un regalo last minute ;)
Vi assicuro che è molto veloce e semplice da fare...

Collocare la Pop 'n Cuts Frame, all'interno della fustella base e tagliare il cartoncino. Piegare lungo le linee guida, per portare in avanti il pop-up.

Posizionare un pezzo di carta fantasia sopra la metà superiore della card e fustellare, tagliare via il pop-up e incollare.

Tagliare tre strisce bianche di altezze diverse, larghe quanto la card e dare loro la forma ondulata; sovrapporre una sull'altra per farle assomigliare ad un terreno coperto da neve. sporcare i bordi con inchostro se si vuole. Incollare sul pop up.

Tagliare il fronte della card e utilizzare la mascherina embossing per creare uno sfondo testurizzato. Piegare e posizionare sul retro della card.

Timbrare e fustellare il Babbo Natale e l'augurio (che fanno parte del set), utilizzando l'inchiostro Versamark e la polvere color rame con la pistola termica.

Incollare Babbo Natale sopra la neve e l'augurio, così come mostrato.

Abbellire il biglietto con stickers, stelline fustellate e strass. Terminare abbellendo la parte anteriore della card, se si desidera, con etichetta dorata e fiocco di neve.

Ecco fatto!

Hi everybody!

Today I want share with you my last Smash Book page. I use it as a journal, so I normally make a page every week. In today's page I have used the House Thinlits Die set from Karen Burniston, I love this little house! You can use it with the Pop'n Cuts range, but you can also use it by itself, as I have done here.

Hoy os comparto aquí mi última página de mi Smash Book. Para hacerla he utilizado el troquel de la casita de Karen Burniston, que normalmente se utiliza con su línea Pop'n Cuts, pero  también se puede utilizar en otros sitios, como en he hecho y hoy en el smash. Me encanta que estos troqueles se puden utilizar también como plantillas de estarcir. ¿Quieres saber cómo? Pues mira el vídeo...

Surprise!

I love surprises, and this card is a perfect example for this. I looks like a simple card made of pattern paper. Very nice but very simple.

But when you open it....
Surprise!

There is this Christmassy pop up. Isn't it beautiful? And this is also very easy to make, you only need a Pop'n cuts base and then some other dies to create your scene. I have user Brenda Walton's Stocking and Paula Pascual's leafy tree. Then I have embellish it with some ribbon, a ticket and a button and voilà! This amazing card is made in almost no time :)

A mí me encantan las sorpresas y esta tarjeta es un perfecto ejemplo de las que me gustan. Es una tarjeta muy bonita, hacha con un papel decorado precioso pero muy simple, hasta que la abres y... ¡Sorpresa!

Dentro está esta escena navideña en tres dimensiones, como un Pop Up. Hacerla es muy fácil, solo necesitas una de las bases Pop'n Cuts y algunos troqueles para adornar. Yo he utilizado este calcetín de Brenda Walton y un arbolito de Paula Pascual. 

Finalmente lo acabammos de adornar con una cinta y un botón y listo, una tarjeta sorprendente hecha en muy poco tiempo.

 Y a vosotros... ¿Os gustan las sorpresas?

How to do:
Die cut the box in patterned paper with Sizzix Bigz Pro Die - Box w/Lid #3
Glue it together. Die cut ice skates in chipboard with Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Toy Soldier & Ice Skate . Paint these with Distress Paint - Picked Fence, Brushed Pewter.
Die cut branches with  Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Pinecone and Sizzix Bigz Die - Holly Branch. Distress the edges with Distress ink Pad - Walnut Stain.
Color seam binding ribbon with Distress Stain - Fired Brick, Barn Door and water.
Glue Mica flaces on the top of the box.
Decorate the top of the box with branches, ice skates and a bow.

Inside the box:
Cut out a panel 21,5 x 9 cm and die cut in patterned paper with Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts Magnetic Insert Die - Label, Funky 3-D (Pop-Up)
Glue the panel inside the box. Die cut garland with  Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Holly, Beaded & Snowflake Garland .
Glue garland inside of the box.

Place a small gift or gift card insiden the box.

Limes i sammen. Stans ut skøyter i chipboard med Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set 2PK - Mini Toy Soldier & Ice Skate . Males med Distress Paint - Picked Fence, Brushed Pewter.
Stans ut grener og blader med Sizzix Bigz Die - Tattered Pinecone og Sizzix Bigz Die - Holly Branch. Distress kantene med Distress ink Pad - Walnut Stain.
Farg seam binding bånd med Distress Stain - Fired Brick, Barn Door og vann.
Lim Mica flakes på toppen av esken.
Dekorer toppen av esken med grener, blader, skøyter og en sløyfe.
Innsiden av esken:
Skjær ut et panel 21,5 x 9 cm og stans ut i mønsterark med Sizzix Pop 'n Cuts Magnetic Insert Die - Label, Funky 3-D (Pop-Up)
Lim panelet på innsiden av esken. Stans ut garlander med  Sizzix Sizzlits Decorative Strip Die - Holly, Beaded & Snowflake Garland .

Welcome Home Card

There is a very famous TV advertisement in Spain that says "Come Home for Christmas" And everyone knows that song :) 

Today I have made a card inspired by this advertisement, but you can use it in any time someone comes home from a long trip, long stay in hospital or a year abroad.

I love this little house from Karen Burniston, and these dies are amazing, you can cut, and use them as stencils, as I did in this card. Isn't it great?

Here you can see some details. i made the tree with a simple scallop circle from the Wrappers die set from Paula Pascual.

¿Os acordáis del famosísimo anuncio de El Almendro? ¿Ese que decía "Vuelve a casa por Navidad"? Pues esta vez me he inspirado en ese anuncio para hacer esta tarjeta de bienvenida, que se puede utilizar después de que alguien haya estado un largo tiempo en el hospital, tras una beca Erasmus... En fin, lo que se os ocurra :)

A mí me encanta esta casita de Karen Burniston. Los troqueles, a parte de para coortar se pueden utilizar como plantillas y estarcir con ellas. Y el arbolito está hecho con un simple troquel de galleta. 

Y vosotros... ¿Tenéis a alguien que "vuelva a casa por Navidad"?

Pop'n Cuts fun!

Hi everybody! These days I have been playing with my Pop'n Cuts dies and I had a lot of fun! I have always loved pop up cards and elements but I have always found them very difficult to make. Now, this has changed thanks to Pop'n Cuts dies. They are so easy to use and you have a wow! card in minutes.

I have combined the Pop'n Cuts dies with my Starter Kit dies to make this card. I have just die cut everything and glue it together and, voilà! a great card in minutes :)

¡Hola a todos! Estos días he estado jugando con mis troqueles Pop'n Cuts y la verdad es que me he divertido mucho. Siempre me han gustado las tarjetas con pop ups, pero me parecen siempre muy complicadas de hacer. Esto ha cambiado con los Pop'n Cuts, con los que puedes hacer una tarjeta sorprendente en minutos.

Para esta tarjeta solo he combinado los troqueles Pop'n Cuts con los de mi Starter Kit. He troquelado todos los elementos, los he pegado juntos y listo. Una tarjeta espectacular en minutos.
