Hello Sizzix Friends!
November has just arrived and I'm so excited!
This is the first year I can share with you, Sizzix blog Readers, my Christmas projects and it's such a honor for me.

Today a new gift package is waiting for you and I hope you'll enjoy it.

You need:
Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513)
Wrapping papers
Cardstocks (Kraft brown, Kraft shiny silver, Kraft shiny gold)
Scissors
Tape
Baker's twine (cream and gold)
Double-sided sticky tape
Double-sided sticky foam pads
Adhesive Pearl Stones
Twezzers

Wrap your gift up using a stripped wrapping paper, scissors and sticky tape.
Wrap the package with the twine and fix it with a piece of double-sided sticky tape.
Die cut two ovals (in two different sizes) using two framelits from Sizzix Framelits Die Set 7PK - Ovals (657563) and two different cardstocks (kraft brown for the small oval, shiny gold for the big one).
Emboss the golden big oval using a snowflakes embossing folder (I used Sizzix Textured Impressions Embossing Folders 2PK - Winter Snowflakes Set (658628) ).
Die cut the Winter Wishes phrase using two different cardstocks (kraft shiny silver and kraft shiny gold).
Paste a stipe of double-sided sticky tape behind the silver Wishes word and put the golden letters in the holes.
Remove the plastic film from the double-sided sticky tape and add some sticky foam pads behind the Winter Wishes phrase.
Paste the phrase on the kraft brown oval.
Stick some pieces of double-sided tape behind the two ovals (the embossed one and the kraft brown one) and paste them on the gift package.
Fix some adhesive pearls on the snowflakes using the tweezzers.

That's it :)
Have a wonderful sunday!

*Per i lettori italiani*

Buongiorno amici creativi.

Ho usato:
Sizzix Accessory - Die Brush & Foam Pad for Wafer-Thin Dies (660513)
Carta regalo
Cartoncini (marrone, satinato argento, satinato oro)
Forbici
Scotch
Spago (crema e oro)
Nastro biadesivo
Gommini biadesivi
Perle adesive
Pinzette

Finito! :)
Buona domenica

Greeting Card with a quote and a die cutted Flower

Hey everyone,
it´s me again, Julia. My project for this weeks post is a beautiful greeting card with a black stamped quote on it. Framed in pink and embellished with a precious die cutted flower. I LOVE IT!

But first, let me tell you what we need to make some cards like this:
Pink cardstock, blank cards, enamel dots, clear stamps with a quote (mine is from the American Crafts Dear Lizzy daydreamer collection), black inkpad

Sometimes I really love sitting at my crafttable and just make a bunch of cute flowers. It´s so meditative and of course I can get rid of aaaaaall my old scraps. Maybe that´s why I love die cutting so much! You can reuse your old paper scraps to make some really new and beautiful items, right? That´s so awesome.

With one of these pretty flowers I created a greeting card. Simple but effective! :)

Have fun making this card. Hope to see you next week, when I have a new inspirational project for you! :) Happy easter, xo Julia

PS: Don´t forget to have a look at the SPRING FEVER SALE! There are a lot of beautiful Dies you definitely need. ;)

--------------------------------

New Year (Old Dies)

WOW! Where did 2014 go to? One minute we are complaining that the Christmas chocolates are in the shop next to the the barbecue things and the next thing you know it's NEW YEARS EVE!!!

There have been some terrific die collections in the last 12 months and I am happy to report that there are lots on the way too!

Some dies and folders are irreplaceable and will remain in my collection forever and a day. When I was trying to think of an idea for today's blog I found myself wishing that we had a champagne glass/bottle in one of our collections, (I know it's a New Years cliché but there is a good reason for that so I'm not going to fight against it!) That's when the Ovals Framelits set popped into my head.

I chose three suitable ovals and set about my task by die cutting two ivory ovals and one from gold glitter card before adding a tapered strip of ivory card. I trimmed the top off the large ivory oval along with the gold oval before punching a few holes in the gold ovals with a Crop-a-Dile leaving the resulting glitter circles for later.

I attached all the bits together to form my champagne glass using adhesive foam pads to add dimension. next I stamped the legend '2015' onto ivory card before trimming to size to form a tint tag, I also punched a hole in one end. Finally, I cut an asymmetric rectangle of pale gold card and embossed it using my trellis folder.
Here's the finished card. I added a satin bow and attached the tag with a jump ring. Simple yet effective I hope?

I hope you all have a wonderful 2015 and that you will continue to join me every Wednesday at 2pm for more adventures in Sizzix Land!!!

...That champagne looks very appealing, Don't worry, I always stop at two... maybe three but never more....

..... Honest!

Happy Girls are the Prettiest.

Hi Sizzix friends!

It's Sunday and I am back to share a page I made using some of my Sizzix dies.

There is a lot of layering of different elements on this page and also lots of flowers. Since I received the Sizzix Bigz die 'Tattered Florals' I cannot stop using it to make flowers for my cards and pages.
It is truly a wonderful die to create different flowers for your projects!

The large coral roses here were made using the Bigz die.

The journalling spot for my title was made using the 'Ovals' Thinlits dies and I made that delicate butterfly with the Sizzlits from the Big Shot starter kit. I added some liquid pearls to embellish it further.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I used the dies and could take some inspiration from my page! :-)

These are te Sizzix products I used:

Other products used: May kit from Scraps of Elegance, Maya Road, Prima, Petaloo.

Andra produkter jag använt: May kit från Scraps of Elegance, Maya Road, Prima, Petaloo.
