Colorful scrapbooking page with Janna Werner.

Hello everyone, it´s Janna here. Today I´d like to share a quite colorful layout. Last week I showed a scrapbooking page called "Life is a canvas, paint on it". It was about my desire to use more paint and colors on my layouts (I don´t know why but I have become quite shy with adding lots of colors).

The color scheme of this layout is based on the photo: orange, yellow, blue, purple, grey. The picture shows a street art painting I photographed in Oslo last week. I used the Framelits Die Set/Stamps - Banners to cut banners in three colors and three different sizes, then I embossed each of them with the embossing dies mentioned in the material list.

I wanted to incorporate the graffiti look on the layout, therefore I used a mask and spray on the background paper and coloring pencils to extend the lines from the photo. I have to admit that purple is definitely not my favorite color, but it was fun doing something out of the box. Anyways, it was lots of fun, especially creating the banner.

Hallo ihr Lieben, hier ist Janna. Heute möchte ich euch ein recht buntes Layout zeigen. Letzte Woche habt ich eine Scrapbooking-Seite gezeigt, die "Das Leben ist eine Leinwand, mal es an." hieß. Es handelte von meinem Wunsch, mehr Farbe und Farbmedien in meine Arbeit zu integrieren (warum auch immer bin ich recht schüchtern geworden, was den Einsatz von Farbe auf meinen Projekten betrifft).

Das Farbschema des Layouts basiert auf dem Foto: Orange, Gelb, Blau, Lila, Grau. Das Bild zeigt ein Street Art Gemälde, das ich letzte Woche in Oslo aufgenommen habe. Die Bannerteile habe ich mit dem Framelits Die Set/Stamps - Banners in drei Farben und drei unterschiedlichen Größen ausgestanzt. Anschließend habe ich jedes Element mit den in der Materialliste erwähnten Embossing Dies geprägt.

Ich wollte den Graffiti Look in das Layout einbringen. Daher habe ich eine Mask und Spray zur Gestaltung des Hintergrunds eingesetzt. Mit Buntstiften habe ich dann die Zeichnungen vom Foto fortgeführt. Ich muss gestehen, dass Lila nicht meine Lieblingsfarbe ist, aber es hat Spaß gemacht, mal über den Tellerrand zu schauen. Wie auch immer, es hat viel Spaß gemacht, besonders die Herstellung des Banners.
