Tone on Tone embossing!

 By Celine  Navarro

Hello everyone!

I've been catching up on my 31 Things online workshop with Ali Edwards these days and I wanted to show a layout  I made using my Big Shot Pro and some of my favorite small embossing folders! :)

Here are the embossing folders I used :

First of all, I used 5 different BORDER embossing folders directly on my 8,5x11 layout : the great thing about the Big Shot Pro is that you can cut and emboss directly on a 12x12 layout!

Simply place your 5 different border folders directly onto your white cardstock and place your 8,5x11 background in your Big Shot Pro : you will need your regular Big Shot plateform to emboss though.

Then I used those white speech bubbles and worked tone on tone on my embossed background : a little bit of sewing and voilà! I love the way it looks!

You can also add colors to your embossed background with mists or inks, for example, then you can stamp or color your speech bubbles the same color! Embossing and tone on tone is the best to me! :)

Supplies

Papers (American Crafts white cardstock); Alphas (Basic Grey, October Afternoon); Stamps (Studio Calico);  Stickers (October Afternoon); Arrow chipboards (Studio Calico); Washi Tape (October Afternoon, Bella Blvd); Big Shot Pro (656250); Bohemian botanicals Embossing Folders (657810); Peacock Vinte Embossing Folders (657819).

See you next week!
