Movers and Shapers - a bit different way!

Hi there, it's Friday again!
I'd like to tell you about an idea I had in last days... I'm that kind of personality that keeps thinking about new, sometimes crazy ways of using the supplies she already has in her stash... this time my eyes turned on some extra cool Cargo Numbers Set by Tim Holtz (657841Sizzix Movers & Shapers Magnetic Die Set - Cargo Stencil Number Set) and I thought - hey, how about some... stamping?
It didn't take me long to try the new idea of course - and - to be honest - I love the effect in every inch!
And here is the story how it all happened...

I started with creating a simple layout composition - all based on Prima Marketing papers and embellishments. I wanted it to be as "boyish" as possible, because I wanted to use an old photo of my dad and his 2 friends.I looked through my "Movers and Shapers" collection...

To add some extra elements to the composition I cut out some frames from patterned paper with Framelits dies: 657938Sizzix Framelits Die Set - Frames, Decorative #2.

When the composition was almost ready I started my crazy stamping - just as I expected, Movers and Shapers work great as foam stamps!

For the stamping I used one of my favorite Ranger inks - Archival Jet Black. It gives beautiful, deep black color, which goes great with the style of the Cargo Numbers I think.
Here is the final effect and some detail photos too - how cool is this?

Of course I didn't forget about cleaning the dies after using - I used some baby wipes and stamp cleaner:) Bot to be honest - Archival Ink gets permanent after drying anyway, so any of my cut outs will be affected:)

I hope you liked my idea - looks like the Sizzix products have more possibilities than I expected! :)
See you soon!
Finn
